He looked back at Joanne, she was completely frozen at the spot. Cory feared something like this would happen, and he wasn't prepared for it. If she was bad at socializing, then it would be an epic fail... his friends would definitely get suspicious of her. As if telling them he had a girlfriend wasn't bad enough, he had to deal with this too.

"Amanda hi," Cory waved at her, with a smirk. After all the formalities, he finally got down to business. "Everyone, I want you to meet my girlfriend, Joanne."

"G-g-girlfriend?" Subomi spat the water he was drinking back into the cup.

"That's what I said." Jordan placed his laced fingers underneath his chin.

"She's quite shy though," Cory said looking at Joanne who was now attached to his back. "So please be understanding, anyone has anything to say... like an objection?" He said, looking around and fixed his gaze on Amanda.

She was so red he thought she would soon explode, to say she was fuming was an understatement. But he found it odd that she was so quiet. The sassy, hot-tempered and rude Amanda he knew would have not kept quiet. In fact, she would have been all over the place, but oh well, that means less work for him.

"Uh actually, we would like to say something." Jordan said gesturing between him and Subomi.

"Go ahead." Cory looked at them expectantly.

"Privately." Subomi added.

"Oh..." he turned to face Joanne, worry was present in his eyes. "Are you gonna be fine alone with her?" He whispered, pushing strands of hair out of her face.

She moved back a bit, wary of the affection Cory was showing, but then she realized she was unofficially his girlfriend, and this kind of thing would be expected. It would be hard though, she hated physical contact. "I think I can handle it."

He smiled, then turned to leave but suddenly turned to face Joanne again. "Oh and don't bite her head off, I know how scary you can be when you get upset, okay?"

Joanne scowled. "You're making me sound like a monster."

"Well you aren't exactly not one." He chuckled.

Jordan, Cory and Subomi headed to the men's restroom, leaving Amanda and Joanne all by themselves. Honestly, he was still worried about leaving Joanne alone by herself, he hoped Amanda wouldn't talk about the sex tape or any of the scandals between them. Maybe leaving Joanne with her all by herself wasn't the best.

"What could you guys possibly have to say? That question was meant for Amanda."

Joanne
Cory left her all alone with his - Joanne didn't even know what the phrase was for whatever was between Cory and Amanda. She sure was receiving death glares that if they could be spelt, would be something like: you slut! What are you doing around Cory? Well maybe not that harsh, but close.

"Hey bitch," Amanda slammed the table.

Joanne turned to glance at her.

"What's your likes doing around Cory, he doesn't date- " She laughed. "Did I just say date?!" She laughed more. "He doesn't move around with people like you. No ass, no boobs, you don't even have a pretty face... everything about you is just off. Something doesn't feel right."

Silence.

"You are a gold digger, aren't you? Of course that would be the only possible explanation. Cory can't be interested in someone like you." Amanda repeated.

Joanne placed a palm under her chin. "Are you done?"

Amanda stared at her, eyes wide open. "What?"
