chapter eleven

y/f/n pov:

i slowly opened my eyes as the bright sunlight blinded my eyes. i turned to my right and soobin was still sleeping. guess we had some time before heading back, at least until he wakes up. 

as soon as i felt him moving, i immediately pretended to be asleep. i didn't know why either- but my instinct told me to do so. 

"y/f/n, are you still asleep?" i heard him asked. i laid down there as if i wasn't awake and stifled my laughter i almost burst into. "that's weird, her eyelids aren't moving... she's probably awake... eyelids move when one is asleep..." he said.

eyelids move when we sleep? i immediately moved an eyelid and he said, "wake up y/f/n, eyelids don't move when we sleep, i know you're awake." i slowly opened my eyes and laughed sheepishly.

"why did you pretend to be asleep?" he asked. "i don't know actually- i just felt like it..." i replied. "hm okay, anyway, now that we're both awake, let's start going back to the camping site? they're probably really worried," soobin said. 

"yeah sure, let's go," i said, trying to stand up, but once again remembering my leg was twisted and scratched. "ow ow ow," i said, grabbing my leg as i felt pain piercing through me. "oh yeah, we both forgot about your leg oops, let me help you," he said. 

he came in front of me and bent down as i asked, "what do i do-" "just hop on, imma carry you back," he said. "oh, uh- thanks," i said, hopping onto his back as he held me tightly. "hold tight, i don't want you falling," he said. once again, my heart was going wild...

soobin pov:

"ow ow ow," y/f/n said as she grabbed her foot. gosh- we both forgot about her foot. "oh yeah, we both forgot about your leg oops, let me help you," i said. i went to in front of her and bent down before her as i got her to hop on.

she seemed a little hesitant at first, but soon jumped on. "hold tight, i don't want you falling," i said as i held her tight. we made our way back out since it was much easier when it was all bright and sunny. soon, we made our way back...
