Shinso - Never Enough

You can also guess that this song will be used in this one-shot - i hope you enjoy! (Disclaimer/spoiler: i actually play the violin myself so i wanted to uh...include some of that. I actually don't know how to play Never Enough on the violin but here we go.)

You stared up at the stage from the far back row. You were here to see the class of 2-B's concert. "Wow this looks amazing compared to what we had last year for this festival." TsetsuTsetsu smiled and took the seat next to you. "Aren't you supposed to be on stage?" You asked started to worry if the main crew were looking for him, "Hm? Oh nah, my work's done. I'm not in this one." He raised a brow at you, as if you was single again. "TsetsuTsetsu, you do know I'm dating Hitos- Shinso...right?" You squinted at him. "Yes I'm aware it's just sad you couldn't be with me." He pestered you. You stood up and exited the seat you had.

Shinso stood there, worried. "Hitoshi are you okay?" You ran towards him, dropping everything you had in your hands. "I...[Y/N]" he took you into his grasp and hugged you tightly. "Hitoshi..."
"[Y/N] i cant go up there. Could you...sing for the people?" He asked you. "Of course, i mean...i was really looking forward to your singing. Why'd you agree to it anyway?"
"We'll talk about this later...you know the words?"
"Um yeah-"
"Good I'll see you up there." He ran forward and grabbed your stuff from the floor.

You blinked but ran behind the stage.

"GEEZ! We were starting think nobody would sing for us!" Kendo grabbed both your shoulders and shoved you into the changing stall, giving you a hanger with a dress on it. "Kendo! This is amazing! You make it?"
"Well yes...Just put it on and hurry!" She urged you.

You put on the black dress that trailed with a black transparent cloth with gold stars on it behind you. You stepped out and smiled, "Fits me just as well."
"Great we had a back up singer in case Shinso wouldn't do it. We also sorta guessed he wouldn't." She dragged you to the stage and held both your hands, "Do well and break a leg!" She winked at you as you retreated to the stage. You stood at the Center and felt your hands become sweaty.

You took in a breath and closed your eyes tightly. Your eyes turned to Kendo at the side of stage, "I...I cant do this im sorry."
"What are you doing?!" Kendo whisper-shouted at me. You ran off stage and she stopped you from running away, "Hey-"
"I'll play the instrumental version." You pointed your finger at her, "Fine. Play good." She smiled and handed you the glossy wooden violin.

You stepped back on stage and pulled up the violin onto your shoulder.  A sigh escaped your lips. You placed the frog of your bow close to the strings of the violin. Lightly pulling the bow down, you arranged your fingers into the next note. You heard people in the crowd gasping at how good you played. Someone stood up in the crowd and sang the words of the next verse. "Never enough - Never, Never. Never enough! - Never Never!" You recognised the voice, Shinso made his way down to the stage. "All of the shines of a thousand spotlights, all the stars we steal from the night sky will Never be enough."
"Never be enough..." You slowly placed your violin by your side as you and Shinso locked eyes when he stood next to you. You smiled softly and he leaned in, making you blush. "We're in front of a crowd."
"So? How can they stop me? They don't know my love for you." He confessed and pulled you in. You kissed him back and you both smiled, he pulled you off stage, Kendo winking at you constantly.

"I'll Never get Enough of you." He sighed and kissed you lightly on the cheek.
