The Director of Project Freelancer sat alone in a small room, elbows rested on a small desk as he watched a video over and over and over again. . .

FILSS: Beginning playback.

The woman on the screen pushed the camera away. . .

Allison(Video): Leonard, come on, stop it. Put that thing down. You're gonna make me late. They're waiting for me.

Two women entered the room. . .

Carolina: Hello Director.

Director: Hello Agent North Carolina. Would you like to watch this file with me?

Carolina: No.

Director: Play it again FILSS.

FILSS: Director?

Director: Again.

Carolina: So. . . this is what you've become.

Director: I just need to watch this. I think I have a way. . . A way to bring her back right this time.

Carolina: The authorities are hunting you now. If I found you, they will too.

Director: I just need a bit more time. . .

Epsilon: NO!

The AI flew across the room and onto the desk!

Epsilon: You've had your fucking time. You have to answer for what you did. To the Meta, to Washington, to Carolina, to Ruby, to me, everyone, and to her! To Texas!

Director: Hello Epsilon. You came all this way just to see me?

Epsilon: I'm here to remember what you've done. Somebody has to.

Carolina: Church. . .

Epsilon: Not all of got off scott free, Carolina.

Delta(Epsilon): He was brilliant.

Theta(Epsilon): And we trusted him.

Gamma(Epsilon): But then he lied to us.

Omega(Epsilon): He twisted and tortured us, and used us. . .

Sigma(Epsilon): And manipulated us for his own purposes and for what?! For this?! This. . . shadow?!

Epsilon: He needs to pay. . .

Carolina took her helmet, letting her red hair free as the Director took off his glasses. . . Their emerald green eyes met. . . Rachel leaned down, places a kiss on his forehead. . .

Director: Just a bit more time.

Rachel: Come on, Church. We're leaving.

Epsilon: I thought we came all this way to kill him. . .

Rachel: Church. . . remember what you learned in the memory unit? You need to let go. . . Your past doesn't define who you are.

Her emerald eyes met the visor of the other person in the room. . .

Rachel: It just gives you the starting point for who you're going to be.

She began to walk away, but she was stopped. . .

Director: Agent North Carolina. . .

Rachel: Yes Director?

Director: Would you be so kind, as to leave me your pistol?

She placed it on the table. . .

Director: Thank you Carolina.

Rachel: Goodbye. . . sir.
