Third Person's P.O.V. - 5:15 PM, Wankhede Stadium
It was practice sessions for the CSK team today. Tomorrow they had a big day. After winning tomorrow, they'll be in the semifinals. Deepak was practising very hard for it. He had few bad matches so he wants to give his best this time.
'Hey Cherry take a break.' MSD shouted. 'No skipper abhi nahi.' he answered. (Cherry is nickname for Deepak)
'Practice ke sath sath rest bhi important hai.' he said. 'I need to give my best performance tomorrow.'
'Achaa thik hai agar tum break nahi loge toh tum playing 11 se bahar.' he tried to fake anger. 'Muje pata hai aap aisha nahi karenge.' Deepak grinned.
'Achaa..Kar bhi sakta huun.' he chuckled. 'Toh thodi der batting kar loon?' he asked.
'Haan thik hai.' MSD sighed. 'Yeh ladka pagal ho jayega.' Raina shook his head.
'Hey!! Look who's back!!!!' someone said. Raina and MSD turned around to see Smriti.
She was physiotherapist for CSK team since 2019. She had well bonded with the team especially with Deepak. They both are super close to each other. The whole team ships them so much. But unfortunately they still haven't confessed their feelings to each other. Deepak have never been in a serious relationship so he's scared of rejection. And Smriti thinks he friend zoned her so she doesn't say much but she's in pain.
Now she was back after 4 weeks of bed rest. She had a torn meniscus. It happened when she and Deepak were playing football late after practice. He still feels guilty, he thinks that happened all because of him. The whole team was sick worried for her. But thank god it didn't turn out to be a bad one and healed within a month.
'Smu bohothi miss kiya tuje.' said Raina giving her a bone rushing tight hug. 'Okay I can't breathhhhhhhh!' she squealed.
'Sorry!' he said as released her from his arms. 'We all missed you kiddo.' said MSD as he hugged her too.
'Thank you both! How could I stay away? I love you all so much.' she smiled. 'How's your leg now?' Raina asked.
'Ah it's fine now.' she said patting her left knee. 'Agar abhi bhi you're not feeling alright then take a day off.' MSD said with concern. 'Main thik huun.' she rolled her eyes.
