Question of the chapter:  Which is the latest non-wattpad book you read?

I would be lying if I said that Meroi isn’t the best friend I never had. The platinum haired woman who was currently cleaning my room and returning all the medical instruments was one among the very few people who had gained my trust ever. And in just two weeks. I was better now. The wound in my back has healed completely but not in my heart.

“I would kill that weasle.” I muttered under my breath and a chuckling sound revertebrated through the room.

“Weasel?” She asks, grining. I frown.

“Yes! That backstabbing God of yours!”

“Mine!” She gasped, “I have no connection to that wrecked son of Nyx. Oh wait. My mother and Nyx technically are related right.” She placed a slender finger on her forehead, pretending to think. I rolled my eyes and grabbed the blue dress from my closet.

“Why weasle though?” She questioned. I pulled my t-shirt above my head and turned to face her with the blue dress in my hand. She immediately turned around. I raised an eyebrow in amusement.

“What? Last time I checked, you dressed my wound and left me half naked.”

She gently massaged her neck with her hand, still not looking at me and said, “That was a need, Silver. I do not intend to invade your privacy.”

I scoffed, “Puh-lease, you are my bestie.”

This made her turn back in shock. I had worn my dress already and was braiding my hair.

“Bestie?”

“Yeah, that’s what you are. And for the weasle thingy, well it just dropped in my mind when I first saw him.”

“Does he look that bad?” She walked over to the dressing table and knitted her fingers in my braid. I let go as she started the process more elegantly.

“Nah, it's not about looks, Mi. I just...I dunno why. Maybe I was just frustrated that I had to babysit him.” I shrugged. Her reflection nodded, staring intently at her masterpiece.

“So tell me about you Mi.” I turned around to face her, in person. She tied a blue hairband at the end of the french braid and sat facing me on the bed.

“Hmm, what would you like to know about Silvy?”

I thought for a short second, “Tell me about life in Olympus. How are your family members?”

She laughed heartily but her eyes spoke for themselves, “We are all in a family Silvy but it doesn’t matter even the slightest.”

I pulled my brows together, she smiled sadly, “It's always been tough for me though. I am kind of sarcastic and my humor is well…” she chuckled nervously, “The fact is Silvy, I suck in socialising and it happens to be that I did a lot of jokes on the Olympians. Sum total, they hate me.”

I frowned. How can someone hate her? She’s so helpful and charming.

“Socializing? You are pretty good to me.”

She sighed, “It's because I don’t find you like them Silvy. They rubbed on my face that I was a minor divinity and out of all the things…” she trailed off, biting her tongue.

“Things?” I urged her to continue. She looked up at me and smiled but it didn’t reach her eyes..

“I was angry with them and that’s why I did all those things and I wasn’t apologetic cause they don’t deserve apologies. Everyone gets what they give.”

I smiled for my friend, “If I happen to live through the war Meroi, remember that I'll always have your back.”

I placed my hand on her knee. It made her head jerk upwards.

“How dare you say that! You will survive the war!”

I chuckled lightly, she didn’t.

“I’ll get the vitamins for you.”

“Meroi!” I yelled from the washroom staring at my reflection. She came rushing towards the room and stopped by the door. I turned to her, keeping my hands on my hips.

“Look at these nasty bags!” I pointed at my eyes.

Honestly, I was never bothered about my looks but they are freaking increasing day by day. She chuckled and then stared at me from top to bottom.

“Why the heck aren’t you dressed?”

“I have a knee length towel covering me.” I grined sheepishly. I love the look on her face when she is bothered by my nudity. It's a tease.

“Fine grandma, I’ll wear something but do you have some magic for these bags?”

She sighed shaking her head, “Get dressed then I’ll tell you a story, it might bore you and you might sleep.”

I giggled and started dressing in my pajamas as she left through the doors.

I tied my pristine hair in a pony and snuggled up in my fluffy bed. Meroi pulled the blanket over me and sat on the edge.

“Hey, come here.” I patted the side of my bed. She pouted.

“I don’t need to.”

“Please…” I battled my eyelashes. She chuckled and swooped closer to me. I smiled cheekily.

“You know Mi, I was quite an introvert for almost eighteen years of my life but these days, I feel so alive.” I stared at her with my eyes wide in amazement.

“Yeah cause there is so much power coursing through your veins right now.” She placed her perfectly manicured finger on my locket. I stared at it and then pressed my lips in a thin line.

“You think so?”

“Mhmm.” She nodded. “So tell me how has your life been Silver?”

I smiled slightly, “My life was pretty messed up from starting. My dad and I were quite close until he died and most of my family went distant. I made these walls around me cause you know...people are just...they just leave Mi. I tried making friends but unfortunately the children in middle school looked at me with pity and treated me as if I am a broken person which was never what I needed. High school became more tough when the selfish people surrounded me. It might seem hard to belive Mi but I was molested once by my uncle and that time I was so naive.

I realised later what had happened to me and from then on, I never trusted people. Even not girls. Sam though, I don’t know why I accepted his proposal in the first place. I was pretty complete and never needed anyone in my life. Yuri was enough of a family to me.” I smiled at the memory of my golden haired little angel.

“She’s lovely, and I am sorry.” Meroi smiled sadly, running fingers through my air.

“Do you think Sam petrified me or something?”

“I think so. Whatever it is, Silvy. Do you want to hear the story or not?”

Here is a different side of Silver...Well...I got this review that Silver is a character who looks down at people a lot. So I am thinking to bring changes.
I would like to know how you see Silver as?
I have designed her as a high class introvert and high-headed girl but...ofc I'd change if that makes the readers happy.

Tell me abt it plz--->

Fact: Sam literally petrified her and made her his girlfriend to stay close. He has always been loyal to Selene and Silver from ever.
