The two looked at him as he stared out the window.
He wasn't himself and had barley spoken this whole time.
His head turned when hearing a car beep at Keantae's.
Out of the car stepped a man with a bandanna he he walked around he other side opening the door and pulling out a body.
The face was unrecognisable, eyes black and blue, lips busted.
Makel opened his door, he knew who it was, the other two may not have been able to recognise her but there was no way he couldn't have.
The man then walked to the back door opening it and out running Khari.
He simply drove away.
"jade.. jade.. what happened?" His voice was soft, he held her weak body in his arms, she was freezing.
He touched her wound but she instantly jumped and hissed, she whimpered at the slightest of movement.
Khari had a scratch under his eye but nothing near as bad.
"Lorenzo, I swear khari was with her parents." Keantae whispered.
"he was.."
He looked up at his son pulling him close also, "are you okay khari?"
he nodded holding onto his dads shirt.
"come on we have to go inside Jade."
"my leg hurt Makel."
He looked back at the car waiting for one of them to help him.
Lorenzo was the first to step out he walked towards them and he saw Keantae walk towards the front door with the spare key.
"it's calm Kel I'll get her don't strain yourself." He walked along with Khari to the house.
Despite the mood being sad khari seemed to be okay and even began to play with his toys before even being in the house one minute.
"Take of your shoes khari."
"ok.." he sat on the floor beginning to take of the velcro shoes.
"Jade." Lorenzo called she looked up. "Who did that?"
"Tion, the..the one that is always with gaybriel."
"why did that guy have Khari?"
"I don't know where Khari came from, he was with us for about a week I got like this because I was trying to stop him from but hurting him."
"Is that why he has that scratch?"
She nodded.
Keantae listened from the kitchen, he couldn't stand the sight of her she looked horrible and it made him think of if that happened to melani.

"Are you sure? Sure that khari is okay here and she looks really bad.."
"I'm coming back later."
"Oh right." He followed him out the house to the car.
"Let's see it then." He asked about the gun that Keantae had picked up prior.
He lifted his shirt.
He humed looking at it.
"The phone."
He pulled it from his back pocket.
"How could rackz be doing all this I can't even."
"Truss me, wouldn't expect that from him but we had time."
"I wanna kill him tonight." Keantae suggested
