Seventy-Eight

"Morning" Desi greeting me with a grumble, sitting at one of the tables

"Wow I'm shocked! You are actually here before me" I teased taking a seat next to her

"Don't test me, I may have turned over a new leaf but I'm still no morning person" she warned before laying her head down on the table

I laughed as Aidan walked over with togo coffee cups and setting them down in front of each of us.

"Thank god she really needs that" I pointed towards Desi who I didn't even know if she was awake or not

"I know I had to drag her here. You're lucky you didn't have to see that" he said taking his seat next to Desi

"Thank you for the coffee. You know most people don't get it right?" I teased just as Niall entered through the front doors and walked straight to Connors office making me grew silent quickly.

"What's up with him?" Aidan asked directing the question towards me

I shrugged knowing the answer but not wanting to tell them.

"He avoided all of us with his head down. Where's his chippy Irish self?" Aidan pushed

"I really don't know" I took a sip of my coffee burning my tongue as it was to hot to drink. He most definitely didn't get my order right. The taste to sweet but I tried to not show it as it was a nice gesture by Aidan.

"Is he mad you told us?" Desi piped up pulling herself up

"She's alive" I joked avoiding her question

"Are you going to answer any of our questions?" Aidan asked

"No I'm fuckin-" I answered before covering my mouth because I did in fact answer

"Got you there" Aidan teased wiggling his eyebrows making us all laugh

Connors door to his office was shut. Only Niall and him inside talking about something.

"Have any idea what they are talking about in there?" Desi asked motioned to the office

"Do you think we got the space?" Aidan asked now both looking at me

"Why do you think I know everything!" I huffed a bit loudly getting fed up at this point

"Because you're with Niall 24/7! You two are attached at the hip" Desi giggled answering back but I wasn't in the giggling mood

"Yeah and that's the problem" I mumbled stirring my gross coffee around in its cup

"What?" Desi said stoping laughing and turning serious

"He asked me to move in with him last night" I sighed admitting it

"Great! Maybe we can find a place near y'all" Aidan said cheerfully

"Oh my god that sounds wonderful! It would be close to the new space and I would see my friends everyday ..." Desi gushed

"No guys would you just stop, I told him no" I interrupted there happiness

"Huh?" Desi said looking at me confused

"I told him I didn't want to"

"You didn't want to?" Desi raised an eyebrow at me "that's not a good explanation."

Like I haven't heard that before

"Here we go again" I rolled my eyes "I don't have to give anyone an explanation"

"No you're right. You don't owe us an explanation. But I think you owe him an explanation" Aidan said pointing to the closed office doors

Maybe He's right.
