Starting off strong, no one hates Leif more then he hates himself, he's the sort of person who no matter what anyone thinks they could say to him he's already thrown it or worse at himself; he genuinely believes that he has nothing good about him or any value in the world and won't be convinced otherwise without a struggle. That being said, if you want someone to be your ride or die this is your guy; once he forms a genuine bond with someone he will do anything he possibly can for them, and just being there for him on a surface level will make you a person he cannot afford to lose and he will do whatever he can to let you know that without saying it. Once you get to know him blonde here can actually be a lot of fun to be around, he's skilled at adapting to people's different senses of humor and knows exactly how to make someone laugh after spending a little while with them, and he's a person who can just stand up and abruptly take you on an adventure through town if things get to dull for his or his your liking. Leif struggles with following rules and respecting authority figures, he's known to be a problem kid due to his frequent disregard of outside forces trying to restrict him and his choices and often intentionally goes against what he's told to do just to prove he's not backing down, the only exception to his disrespect of authority is his father due to years of conditioning. He was never taught how to properly process and express his emotions in a healthy way, because of this the coping mechanism he's managed to find and keep throughout the years is lashing out and tearing other people down; being a bully may only make him feel worse in the end, but it's all he knows how to do at this point in his life and he's gotten to the point he believes that there's no turning back and trying to change his behavior. If he believes that someone cares about him and his well being, genuinely cares about him as a person, he will not only drop his hostile defences but may actually become an over sharer; once someone earns his trust almost any question they have will be answered with honesty and even some related information they didn't actually ask for, and even the ones he doesn't want to talk about he'll still give away info on through how he evades the question.
