➶Personality Description➷
Sirius always puts the people around him before himself regardless of whether he's close to them or not, he's naturally disposed to going out of his way to help those he comes across in his life and offering support to people whenever he has the means to do so; he'll go out of his way for people even if they're a total stranger to him, and he'll do so rather happily at that. He often forgets that he should also be a priority in his life, and he's quite guilty of puting others before him to the extent where he causes himself harm in some way or another trying to help people instead of taking his own well-being into consideration; that being said this tendency only applies to himself, he'll never intentionally harm someone he cares about in hopes to help someone else. He's a very down to earth and methodical when it comes to solving his problems; he thinks situations through to the fullest extent he possibly can even in the moment and would rather plan for every possible situation he can think of just in case something could possibly go wrong, he really tries to logic his way through situations he finds himself in to the best of his ability. Unfortunately Sirius is prone to over thinking even in relatively normal or calm environments, he's used to overcompensating for the unknown and often struggles to turn that thought process off; he'll stress himself out by excessively planning out even minor tasks and dwelling on seemingly innocuous things that have been said to him, all that being said he is beginning to get better about recognizing when this is happening and trying to shake himself of the habit. He's a genuine person, the person he presents to the world is the exact same person you'll meet behind closed doors without a doubt, he despises hiding parts of himself from people and views those who become entirely different people between public and private places as somewhat two-faced when there isn't a valid reason for the change, he just prefers to live all of his life as his authentic self regardless of who watches. This honesty with himself and the world around him has left him open to both criticism and manipulation; he expects others to be as honest with who they are and their intentions as he is and takes people at face value, he's easy to lie to and unless someone makes it painfully obvious their trying to deceive or cause him harm in some way he'll just take their word for it and believe them until given reason to do otherwise.
