➶Personality Description➷

Bolivar is the type of a person that turns heads when he enters the room, he has a air of charisma about him that just draws people to him even when he isn't trying to get people's attention, he has a way with words when he does interact with people and has made a name for himself as being able to blend in with nobility and polite society if he were to dress the part. There are times where his charm and likability go to his head more then it should, while a problem he has been trying to work on his confidence can cross the line into him just being cocky at times and having an inflated ego, this can cause him to misinterpret situations and people which creates a problem where there once was none. He's a good leader, he knows how to balance being in an authoritative position and making the decisions he feels best while still respecting the people he's working with as individuals with thoughts and ideas that may be better then what he can come up with alone; he can be friendly with his subordinates but he knows better then to let situations get out of hand by not putting people in their place when they step out of line. Bolivar is guilty of forgetting his own place from time to time when speaking to anyone other than his captain, naturally assuming the role as leader even among people who will take emense offence from a pirate speaking to them as an equal or worse as if he's their superior, he can get cracked back into place by the right person but this happens frequently enough for him to need to limit his interactions with polite society more then he already does. This pirate surprisingly has an extremely strict moral code that he lives by, what he views as right and wrong is set and he will not turn against his morals unless it is truly a matter of life and death with no alternative way to find a positive outcome, and even then he will exhaust every possible option before he does something he knows full well he will regret for years to come, and he will not let it go for those years to come. When people do something he views as wrong he is incredibly judgmental and unforgiving towards them no matter what the consequences of their actions were or what lead them to making that decision, for him to actually move on-or if hell freezes over forgive someone-it could take years worth of work to convince him this person is redeemable and worthy of having the past left in the past.
