Daisuke is the type to look on the bright side of things, and actively tries to see the best in the people around him; even when he's stuck in a rough place he'll do his absolute best to find some kind of silver lining in the situation whether it helps the problem or not. He's always been somewhat sheltered from the outside world throughout his life, and has little experience existing outside of the lifestyle he knows; he often has a very simple and idealistic view of things and struggles to wrap his head around darker realities. This tanuki is a fuzzy bundle of energy, and is always trying to do something; he craves new experiences and is always ready to go exploring a new place or try to learn something new. Daisuke doesn't stay focused on one task for long, in fact it's pretty easy to make him forget completely about something he'd been interested in prior; he's always moving onto the next adventure, and sometimes he forgets to finish the one he started on. He's usually up to some kind of shenanigans and mischief when he isn't properly supervised, and loves causing well intentioned trouble; he loves pulling pranks on people and frequently speaks in ambigious riddles to mess with those around him. This prankster doesn't always know where the line is, and doesn't know what types of jokes and tricks are considered appropriate; he doesn't realise he's overstepping a boundary until he's already gone to far, and by that point the damage has been done despite his attempts to fix it. Daisuke does care about people and does his best to help those around him; he may be oblivious to when his own actions are pushing boundaries, but when the opportunity to help someone arises he wont hesitate to offer his assistance. He can be rather clingy at times, and struggles to be without people he's bonded to; he's a pack animal by nature and doesn't handle being separated from or losing those he considers his friends and family all that well.
