Madison woke up with a huge headache in a pitch black room. The room was so dark that she couldn't tell if she was awake or still knocked out. She couldn't see a thing and she hated that feeling. She had always been afraid of the dark. Ever since she was a small child. Only Colson being with her would make her face her fears.

(Flashback)

A five year old Madison was shaking, unable to control her frantic breathing as she laid in her bed, her parents accidently forgetting to turn on her night light. She was sobbing, her eyes darting around to keep an eye out for the monsters that lurked in the darkness.

She let out a sharp yell when she heard the thunder outisde from the storm and quickly pulled her blanket over her head. She heard her door slowly open, her heart pounding in her chest when the footsteps coming across her floor were heard. "Mads, i heard you yell. Are you okay?"

She relaxed some when she heard her big brothers voice and immediately removed the blanket to see Colson turning on her night light for her. "It's okay to be afraid. Even Superman could be afraid sometimes." He came over to her bed, his superman action figure hugged tightly to his chest.

He climbed into her bed and laid down next to her, wrapping his free arm around her shaking body. "It's going to be okay, I promise. I will stay here with you." He told her. Madison slowly nodded before she laid back down and pulled the blanket over them.

"I love you, Colson. Thank you for making the monsters go away." She whispered to him as she finally closed her eyes. He leaned over and pressed a soft kiss to her forehead.

"I love you too, Mads."

(End of Flashback)

Colson was still making the monsters go away for her. Even if that meant getting rid of the monster he once considered to be his friend. He found himself wondering how long it had been going on and what else he had done to her. For the longest time he had wondered what was making his baby sister so sad. Now he knew and he hated himself for not noticing.

Not that he even would have. Dean was careful about it and only did it when nobody was around. He had never been this mad in his entire life. He felt her shaking next to him and quickly sat up before turning to turn on the light as quick as he could, remembering her biggest fear.

He took notice of the way that Madison jumped when he reached out to pull her into his chest and took a deep breath to calm his anger. "It's just me, Mads. He's long gone. You're okay." He mumbled to her before placing a soft kiss to the top of her head. She seemed to relax after hearing her brothers voice.

"Where is Dom?" She softly mumbled, remembering how frantic his voice sounded before she blacked out. She hated the fact that he was probably worried and she didn't have a chance to tell him that she was okay. But she was in fact quite the opposite. She had a black eye, a busted lip, and a broken mind. All because of one asshole.

"He's sleeping in the guest room. He didn't want to leave until he knew for sure that you were okay." Madison found herself smiling. Dom really made her the happiest girl in the world. Happier than Dean ever did, even at the beginning of their relationship.

He wasn't always that mean to her. He used to be sweet and caring. He used to act like he loved her. You would have never thought that he would treat her that way if you would have met them back then. They seemed like the perfect couple.

(Flashback)

"Do you even realize how adorable you are right now?" Dean asked her as she danced around her bedroom in just a t-shirt to a random arctic monkeys song. She was playing air guitar and singing the lyrics at the top of her lungs. He couldn't help but watch her, amazed by everything she did.

"No, why don't you tell me again?" She was smiling, a genuine happy smile. She felt like she were the only girl in the world from the way he was staring at her.

"You. Are. Absolutely. Adorable." He spoke, pausing between each word as he slipped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer to him, pressing a quick kiss to her lips. She smiled against them, her heart beating quick and butterflies forming in her stomach.

"I love you." She mumbled to him, leaning in to press another kiss to his lips.

"I love you too, baby."

(End of Flashback)

She felt the tears brimming in her eyes, her heart breaking again. She couldn't help but think it was her fault and wonder what she did wrong. "Can I go see him?" She whispered to her brother who thought about it for a moment before letting go of her. He knew she didn't need him anymore. What she needed was Dom and he understood that.

Madison kissed her brother on the cheek and got out of his bed before making her way to the guest room. She slowly opened the door to find him sound asleep on his stomach, a small smile coming to her lips. She stepped over to the bed and reached out to tap him on the shoulder. "Dom? Are you awake?"

He quickly lifted his head when he heard her name and smiled when he felt her presence right next to him. "Hey, is everything okay?" He asked in a worried tone before he scooted over on the bed so she could lay down next to him. She rested her head on his chest and slipped her arms around his waist before a soft sigh escaped her lips.

"My head just hurts but I had to make sure you knew I was okay." He slowly nodded before wrapping an arm arounf her small frame, his free hand playing with strands of her hair. "I'm glad you are okay. I was so worried when you jusf passed out. It scared the shit out of me, Maddie."

The thought of him actually caring about her safety made her happier than he would ever know. He had no idea that a simple 'are you okay.' from him would make her entire day. That's all it would take. "I know. I'm sorry. I tried to tell you when once I blacked out, that was it. I couldn't do anything." She spoke through a yawn before slowly closing her eyes.

"It's okay. You're here now. Get some actual rest. I'm not going anywhere. I will be here when you wake up." He placed a soft kiss to the top of her head.

"Do you promise?"

"I promise, love."
