Once they had gotten back home, it was around three in the morning and Madison was beyond exhausted. She went straight up the stairs to her room and began getting ready for bed. She couldn't shake the feeling that there was something more that he wanted to say, something that she needed to know.

She kept thinking that maybe, just maybe, he liked her a little more than he was pretending to. What else could he be afraid to tell her? If that's what it was then he shouldn't be afraid. She really liked him too. It took her a while to realize but once she noticed how much she depended on him for happiness, it was kind of obvious.

He was just so sweet to her. She could never figure out why until the idea of him liking her as more than a friend popped into her mind. She could definitely see herself being with someone like him, someone who didn't judge her for her mental health and saw past all of that.

She didn't want to be with anyone else. If she got with another person who considered her mental health to be a joke, she would surely break down again and she was just starting to do better. She decided to text one of the girls her brother had worked with recently, someone who didn't have a mean bone in her body. She needed advice from a girl.

Madison: hi, mila! miss you so much. how's everything going?

Camila: omggggg, madi. i miss you too!

Camila: everything is fine! what about you?

Madison: i actually have a big issue right now. i have this thing for a guy and i don't know how to approach it.

Madison: my last relationship didn't exactly end well.

Camila: ooohhhh, do i know who it is?

Camila: is it rook? i kinda sensed a connection when i was there.

Madison: ew, gross. rook is like a second brother. it's the guy colson just did a song with.

Camila: yungblud?

Madison: yes he's been there for me a lot recently and i fell for him like an idiot.

Camila: does he know about it yet? do you know if he likes you?

Madison: i mean, he told me last night he had to tell me something before he chickened out, but im pretty sure he didn't say what he wanted to.

Camila: always trust your gut, honey. it will never lie to you. if you believe he likes you then you need to march your little behind over to him and tell him you feel the same way.

Camila: don't wait for him to come to you. men aren't exactly great at expressing feelings.

Madison: so i should go tell him right now?

Camila: yes!!! and then let me know how it goes. i will be right next to my phone. if it goes badly then i will come over.

Madison took a deep breath and placed her phone down on her bed before she got up and headed into the guest room to confess it all to him.
