I nodded to Tommy and Nick just stae at Felix. After a minuet or so, he walks up to Felix and asks him, "Do you like my sister?" we all laughed even though we knew he was serious. Felix looked over to me and looked back to Nick. "Yea i really do. Is that ok?" Nick smiled then looked at me. He could see how happy I was and then he nodded to Felix. "Yeas its ok."
"Hey Nick. What is mom doing today?"
"Oh she had a doctors appointment and I think Dad went to meet up with her."
I remember what she was doing today.
Felix rushed over to me.
"What do you remember?"
"Its not just any doctors appointment. Its a mamogram. And if my dad is there too. Oh my God."
I covered my face with my hands. Nick caught on to what I was thinking. He started to mumble but I could make out what he was saying. He was saying "No she doesn't. No she doesn't. No she doesn't...."
Tommy comforted Nick while Felix sat next to me and held me in his arms."Whats wrong?"
"I think my mom has breast cancer again.."
