I'm Not A Hero //Stiles Stilinski x Reader

𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫

Y/n walked into class and sat next to Stiles "hey, your dad doing okay?" She smiled at him slightly

"yeah he's doing okay, thanks for asking" He smiled until Scott walked in and sat behind him

"Oh, come on! Is he Still not talking to me?... Okay, can you at least tell me if your dad's okay?" Scott asked but Stiles didn't answer "It's just a bruise, right? Some soft tissue damage? Nothin' that big- You know I feel really bad about it, right? Okay. What if I told you that I'm trying to figure this whole thing out, and... that I went to Derek for help?"

"If I was talking to you, I'd say that you're an idiot for trusting im. But, obviously, I'm not talking to you..." Stiles said sternly y/n gave Stiles a look telling him to talk to him. Stiles sighed then turned around and faced Scott "What did he say?"

"Wh- he wants you to tap into your animal side and get angry?" Stiles shook his head 

"Yeah..." Scott nodded "All right, well, correct me if I'm wrong, but every time you do that, you try to kill someone, and that someone's usually me-"

The girl caught up to them "or me"

Scott sighed " I know. That's what he means when he says he doesn't know if he can teach me. I have to be able to control it."

Y/n looked at him "Well, how's he gonna teach you to do that?"

"don't know. I don't think he does, either..." Scott stated 

"Okay. When are you seeing him again?" Stiles looked confused

"He's picking me up at the animal clinic after work."

Stiles nodded "After work. All right. Well, that gives us to the end of the school day, then..." He looked over at y/n and smiled

"To do what?" Scott frowned

"To teach you ourselves " y/n smiled

The three sat at a lunch table Scott had a book over his face and Stiles pulled it down when y/n walked over and bit into her apple as Scott spoke "So, did you come up with a plan yet?"

Y/n looked at Stiles then Scott "we think so."

Scott looked over at Stiles "Does that mean you don't hate me now?"

Stiles shrugged "No. But, your crap has infiltrated my life, so now I have to do something about it. Plus, I'm definitely a better Yoda than Derek."

Scott nodded "Okay. Yeah, you teach me."

"Yeah, we will be your Yoda." Y/n chuckled at that reference

"Yeah, you be my Yoda" Scott sighed as Stiles began so imitate yoda

"Your Yoda we will be." Stiles chuckled "...I said it backwards."

Scott nodded "Yeah, I-I know."

"All right, you know what? I definitely still hate you. Uh-huh. Oh, yeah." Stiles stood up and walked away Scott following leaving y/n alone

"thanks guys... " She got up and threw her stuff away then went to lydia to talk

y/n walked outside and followed the boys into the field she walked to them as  Stiles was speaking she handed him the monitor

"all right, well, your heart rate goes up when you go wolf, right? When you're playing lacrosse, when you're with Allison, whenever you get angry... Maybe learning to control it is tied to learning to control your heart rate." Stiles explained
