'They've been under for too long" y/n shook her head as she paced the room watching them

"It takes time" deacon reminded her what what seemed like the 100th time

"16 hours?" She asked, the room fell silent when the three shot up out of the tubs. The four stood up and looked at the 3 in the tubs as they got out

"I saw it. I know where it is." Scott panted

"We passed it." Stiles spit out water "There's-- There's a stump, this huge tree. Well, it's not huge anymore. It was cut down. But it's still big, though, very big."

"It was the night we were looking for the body." Scott looked at y/n

"Yeah, the same night you were bit by peter." Stiles agreed

"I was there too, in the car with my mother." Allison leaned against the tub "We almost hit someone."

"It was me. You almost hit me" Scott looked at her making her gasp "we can find it."

Allison noticed the look the four gave them "What"

"You guys were out a long time." Issac told her

"How long is a long time?" Stiles looked at them too

"16 hours." Y/n looked at them panicked

"We've been in the water for 16 hours?" Scott's face dropped

"And the full moon rises in less than four." Deacon looked at them worried

"No, dude, you are not going back with them." Stiles shook his head at Scott, y/n wrapped a towel around Stiles as he got closer to her for warmth

"Are you sure your warm enough" y/n asked him quietly earning just a nod

"I made a deal with Deucalion."

"Does anyone else think that sounds a lot like a deal with the devil?" Stiles looked at them

"Why does it matter, anyway?" Issac furrowed his brows

"Because I still don't think that we can beat Jennifer without their help."

"He trusts you more than anyone. Tell him he's wrong." Y/n looked up at deacon

"I'm not so sure he is. Circumstances like this sometimes require that you align yourself with people you'd normally consider enemies."

"So we're gonna trust him, the guy that calls himself death, destroyer of worlds?" Issac looked up at deacon "We're gonna trust that guy?"

"I wouldn't trust him, no, But you could use him to your advantage." Deacon informed them "Deucalion may be the enemy, but he could also be the bait."

A noise came from the other room making deacon walk forward the rest of then following

"I'm looking for lydia." Ethan spoke up

"What do you want?" Lydia looked at him confused

"I need your help."

"With what?" Y/n asked poking her head into the root

"Stopping my brother and kali..." He nodded looking at y/n for a second then lydia "from killing Derek."

"We know about the lunar eclipse, So don't think kali's gonna sit around waiting for it to level the playing field." Ethan spoke, they we're now at his place "She's coming, and my brother's coming with her."

"Good enough for me." Peter nodded "Derek?"

"You want me to run?"

"No. I want you to stay and get slaughtered by an alpha with a psychotic foot fetish." Peter stated sarcastically "Of course I want you to run. Sprint, gallop, leap your way the hell out of this town"
