Y/n sat on Stiles' bed, Stiles was at his desk  reading through some year book. The girl really didn't know what exactly he was doing it for, she thought they had already figured out that everyone killed were all the same age, her thought got cut short by footsteps coming closer to the room

"Hey, whatcha doing?" Stiles dad spoke as he poked his head into Stiles' Room

"Homework." He answered simply causing y/n to look at him confused, but his dad just shrugged it off and walked down the hall

"It's spring break." Noah said as he poked his head into the room before looking down at what his son was reading he sighed and walked closer "What do you think you're doing?"

"Just satisfying my own curiosity." He shrugged as he flipped the page. His dad's hand grabbed onto the book and shut it before placing his hand down on top of it

"We brought Harris in this morning for questioning." He spoke before shaking his head "They brought him in."

Y/n's eyes furrowed at this not fully understanding what he meant "And?"

"And they're working on a warrant to arrest him for the murders."

"For all of them?" Stiles looked back at y/n with wide eyes before turning his attention back to his father

"Enough of them." He nodded

"With what proof?" The girl stood up and walked to them now

"You remember the couple at the trailer?" He asked looking at them "The tire tracks nearby match Harris's car."

"That's not enough." Stiles opened the book once again but Noah reached over and shut it once again

"The same car was also seen outside the hospital where the pregnant wife was killed. It's got some bumper sticker on it,
a quote from Einstein."

"Wait, what quote?" Stiles said as him and y/n looked at noah

"Something about imagination and knowledge." He shrugged

"Oh god "lmagination is more important
than knowledge."? Yeah. We saw the same car parked outside the rave." Y/n sighed

"That means you're witnesses. You're gonna have to give statements." He nodded at them

"What about the concert promoter, Kara? She wasn't in Harris's class, right? I mean, what does Mr. Lahey have to do with Harris?" Stiles pushed further

"It doesn't matter. The tire tracks put Harris at the site of three murders. That's damning evidence." Noah continued as well

"No, it's not enough." Stiles demanded opening the book once again

"I thought you hated this guy." Noah leaned up and looked at him

"I don't hate him, all right? He hates me." Stiles continued flipping pages "And, you know, if he'd killed them all, then yeah, lock the psycho up. But there's something missing. There's gotta be something missing."

"Hey." Noah tried but Stiles still flipped through the pages it wasn't until he spoke next that the boy looked up at his father "Hey. You don't have to solve this for me."

"No, I have to do something." Stiles told him before looking down at the book y/n looked down at the page and got closer

"What?" Stiles asked looking at her

"Look at the swim team." Was all the girl had to say for it to connect

"Dad, the coach." Stiles looked over at him "It's lsaac's dad."
