Bucky was the only one home as he sat down in his room with his Subway for lunch. He put his tv on the channel for the Winter Olympics. It was the day of the Women's Figure Skating coverage.
It was finally time for Maggie to go on. He listened as the commentators talked about her history and showed older clips in a corner box as she skated for a bit. She went to the center of the ice when the announcer said her name and Wicked Games by Raign began.
She got into her staring position as she wore a red dress. She did a camel spin first then took off as she skated around and did toe loop before setting up for her triple Axel as the music picked up. She did lay back spin before going into a biellman spin. She did the splits her second triple Axel and a step over before going back into a camel spin and sit spin as the song ended.
Bucky smiled as he watched her scores as he ate his meatball sandwich from subway. Once all the girls were done it was time to announce the winners. They did bronze and silver first finally it was time for the gold.
"For the third year in a row the Olympic gold medalist Ms Margaret Connors." The announcer said as she stood in the middle and got her medal.
Bucky stood up and clapped quietly in case anyone came home.
"Congrats Maggie." He whispered then turned it off.
She enjoyed a celebratory dinner with her family. She had to stay in Sydney for the closing ceremony so her grandparents flew back but her parents stayed with her.
