So a few days ago I said I was going to push through the pain and keep working hard, despite how I felt. 

Turns out you SHOULDN'T push through some types of pain.

I've strained my soleus muscle in my right leg - a muscle in my calf - and I can't walk without feeling pain.

It's felt like this for about 4 days now, and because I kept running despite how my leg felt, I made the injury worse. 

Which means recovery is going to take longer than it should :( It should only take a few weeks for my calf to heal, but I'm really annoyed because I could be using that time to exercise.

So everyday I have to stretch, and do gentle exercise, or exercise that doesn't make my soleus muscle feel worse. 

Swimming, walking and lifting weights are what I'm concentrating on right now. 

Anyway, just thought I should tell you all so that if you are feeling PAIN, not just feeling sore, you should see a doctor before you tear or strain any muscles!!

AND DON'T FORGET TO DO WARM UP EXERCISES BEFORE EXERCISING!

I can barely even walk up stairs, so don't hurt yourselves guys!!
