~ Day 39 ~

I'M 16 NOW WOO! And I am also 6.6 kg lighter than I was 39 days ago!

My party was on Saturday, and so I ate some junk food and promised not to take a guilt trip... but I did.

I felt so guilty that I felt fat, and yucky, and I didn't do any exercise on Satuday OR Sunday!

On monday, I did 20 minutes, and I felt a little bit better, but because I'd eaten all that bad food, I felt like I  cheated myself.

And in a way, I did.

But remember, sometimes if you break a habit or a routine, it can be SUPER HARD to start again. I I also skipped Tuesday's workout, and I felt so guilty and crappy on Wednesday.

So on Wednesday, I got into what Michelle Bridges (famous Australian personal trainer) calls the 'robot mode'. If you are super unmotivated to exercise, don't even think about it! Just slip on your shoes and go into your normal routine, like a robot.

I did it yesterday and after my run - the first bit of my training - I felt fantastic! And then I wanted to keep going, so I did!!

Today is a pretty warm day in Sydney, but I'm going to go home and burn calories! And don't forget about 'incidental' calorie burning.

That's when you burn calories without meaning to, like housework, or stairs instead of a lift... stuff like that!

On a different note: I have gotten some really amazing messages from people telling me how much I inspire them, or that my story is encouraging them, and I honestly can't explain how inspired that makes ME! :')

People like that keep me going strong.
