She was dumbstruck.
“I'm sorry for whatever the kids did. I have no intentions of getting remarried!” She was about to leave.
“I knew about Rishi and your late husband.” He immediately said.
She looked at him shocked.
“I have an eight year daughter. My wife passed away when she was 3. She always asks about mother. That's why I'm convinced. ” He sighed.
She recollected how Rishi used to look at kids playing with their dad, how he uses to feel during patents meeting in school and all.
“Our kids don't deserve this. Neither our lives. I still can't get over my wife. But she must be worried looking at agony of my daughter. I tried my level best to compensate but all in vain.” He broke down.
This very thought converted her anger and pain into concern for his daughter and Rishi.
They exchanged their numbers after talking for nearly half an hour about their lives and kids. And he left.
“We are sorry aunty. We shouldn't have interfered in personal life. But we thought it's unfair. You and your life deserve a chance.” Arun said.
“That's what parents teach us, never give up and give a second chance. Isn't it?” Anu said supporting him.
She smiled at Anu and Arun who looked bit scared and guilty.
Anu and Arun were amazed how progressively she thinks.
“Respecting and understanding children's opinions in sensitive issues is seldom seen in our country.” Arun said praising her.
“She is just perfect! ” Anu said proudly.

“Let's go to watch Cricket match tomorrow! ”Arun cried. “Our team is having match in stadium in our city. It's also free for students. We shouldn't miss the live!” Arun was on cloud nine.
“Sure!” Rishi and others cheered. And it was the hot topic in boy's hostel, ever since a week. Also among some girls.
Anu though lest interested in sports came there.
Sam though not a big fan, looked overjoyed and shouted her lungs out along with Arun.

And after nearly a month and half, they both said yes for the marriage.
They were done with first mid exams in the mean time. Anu and Arun were happy. They now started planning how to surprise Rishi and inform Sam.
Sam was very much excited and shocked when she heard it from Arun and Anu.
There were no bounds for Rishi's happiness.
“It's Anu's idea! ” Arun smiled.
“We did work on it equally! ” Anu said immediately.
