21. RELIEVED

She kept mum.

“Someone is doing stunts there! ” Arun quickly diverted the topic. Of course, he is expert in it.

Arun, Anu, Rishi walked towards the crowd.

“ You can't simply ask anyone anything! ” Megha fumed on Raghu.

“Yeah, we never know what others are going through. I just forgot she isn't our friend,” Raghu agreed.

They quickly joined others.

“ I loved someone who is really good, perfect to be honest. But I have been so immature that I let him down and let him go. It's too late, by the time realized. I lost it now. Completely. ” Anjali muttered.

“I'm sorry. But I'm sure, you will find someone else, you can be happy with,  again. Just be like this. ” Akash said.

“ I wonder if I could get him back by any means. That's why I have come there as a manager. So, that I can ask him for forgiveness and prove that I can be his perfect. But, the door is closed. I felt ashamed to contact him in between, I should have been quick. He hasn't even spoken to me until a few days, ” Anjali muttered to herself, but no one heard except Akash.

“It happens, in many people's lives just like you. I was a stalwart the entire third year. I didn't know about your relationship, I never attended any events, basically hibernated. Having a job was my ultimate goal then. I don't know what went wrong. I appreciate your genuine efforts. I have seen at times.” Akash said to Anjali, when others are busy planning to surprise Rishi's mom, by a new song of him, on New year in concert at night.

Anjali smiled at him.

“Yes, I know. Now you have changed a lot. You are rocking it. I mean a shy guy,  now turned out to be awesome leader. Communication skills, being comfortable with people everything! ” She applauded.

“ Yeah, I was always awkward back then. If Rishi isn't my friend, I wouldn't have attended college events too. I thought hobbies, extra curricular activities, events and all those were deviations. Studies are life according to me back then. I was taught that since childhood. But now, I realized how balancing career and enjoyment is important after experiencing it. ” He smiled.

Finally they managed to find a comfortable location, where Rishi's mom can sit and enjoy his performance in live from 9 pm at night.

It's splendid, more than the previous one. May be it's his best, dedicated to his mom.

All his friends and family members stood in the front row, cheering. His mom ran out of words. It's best surprise he gave her till date.

“What's the reason behind this sudden concert in your home town Rishi? ” A reported asked after the event.

“A surprise to my mom! ” He smiled.

“Why don't you tell who you family members are? Are they here around. What's your background? ” Someone else asked.

“ I need time. I want my private space too. ” He replied politely.
