16. BUILDING CAREER TOGETHER

Rishi quickly started focusing on giving live performances. As social media is powerful these days, he has a plan to make use of it profitably.

Rishi talked to Arun and Sam the night. Arun being Rishi's closest friend, is completely disappointed. Arun has two shades, he doesn't lose cool quickly. But if is infuriated, it will take really good time to pacify him. Arun disconnected the call in between. 

" I will talk to him, don't worry." Sam told Rishi, though she too is hurt.

"You know, I was 11 year old when we first met, in an inter school level science fair. I was representing a small school. Rishi and his mom were visitors. She was very much impressed with my project that she inquired about me. When she realized I was a bright student lacking resources, she took responsibility of my education. Got me admitted in same school like Rishi, gave funds to my old school. I got good scholarships there after, she is always happy for me. " Arun narrated Sam on call, reminiscing how their friendship evolved with time. 

" I can understand. It's high time Rishi changed this attitude. Friends purpose is to share difficulties, not just happy times alone. Rishi should have shared everything with us. If he had told me about Anu's fake rejection story in college, I must have talked to Anu. Anjali could never have entered his life." Sam is upset too.

Rishi met both of them separately and apologized. Arun did accept his sorry, only when he assured he would no more keep any secrets from him, just like Arun shares everything with Rishi.  Moreover Arun and Sam wanted to come out of this chaos soon, and they didn't pester.

Rishi is back to form. He  released the best among his songs on YouTube and made sure it reaches RJs. Luckily it attracted Reels and short video creators on TikTok kind of apps and trend on it began. He gave live performance in some colleges, back to back for free to reach people. Tried interacting with people more by replying  and coming live on Instagram, posing for photos with them. As he is also good in dancing, it attracted audience more. He took care of his grooming style, so that young people can connect to it. His good looks too helped in getting more audience in females. 

Anu and her team are spending more time on work, so that they can have more leaves to go home and chill.

Few months passed within a glance.

"I got an offer to sing in a small budget movie!" Rishi pinged Anu one night.

"All the best! " Anu replied quickly.

Rishi has now become completely normal again. He is too excited about his new project.

They both talked about their final year memories, silly things they did in college and all for nearly 2 hours.

"Ooh, It's been too late! I have to go there early tomorrow! " He pinged.

"Yeah, we didn't notice. Good night! " Anu who is too tired and waiting for him to end the conversation, since an hour said.

"Yeah, GN, SD,TC! " Text popped up on her screen.

It remained her of their first convo and 'Goods taxes services'.

It's just that she doesn't want to disappoint him by saying, she is sleepy or something. To be honest she never ends convo first when it's Rishi on the other side! After all he is her crush.
