14. THE TRUTH

" Let's meet on Rishi's birthday which is in five weeks." Arun and Sam planned.

Let's all plan schedules for that from now. I will see he is free that day. It's Sunday too. Let's surprise him on Saturday! " Akash assured.

Anu and Megha are happy as they are going to meet their friends too. However Ritu couldn't come due to her pre-planned work.

"Megha, is everything fine? You look upset these days! " Anu asked the same day.

"Thousands of girls come here with dreams. It's very tough being a model. That add director sacked me without informing and new girl is roped now. He asked for favors I slapped him in return for. " Megha said.

"God! "Anu is shocked.

" I want to grow on my own. I don't want 'nepotism product tag'. I'm tired seeking mom's help. But for a girl who doesn't like talking much and friendships for benefits, it will be very tough." Megha said.

"I understand. Why don't you try acting? You have experience in ads too! " Anu suggested.

"But I never dreamt of it. Well, everything never goes planned. May be I can prove there and it might help me in modelling afterwards. I will give auditions." Megha agreed.

After a week :

"There were times I and Sam argued about many days, in college itself. We literally have opposite opinions and always sorted out things every time.It's all about how two people accept each others flaws and accept each other. Love isn't perfect. Neither one should expect. " Arun said.

" Are you still upset with Sam?" Anu asked.

"I never imagined Sam would talk about departing. I just broke down that time. But I also believed she couldn't do that. And I'm relieved when things settled down. " Arun said.

" Many true lovers still depart due to fear of family. Mostly boys get effected though it's difficult for girl too. And then many lose faith in love. Isn't it? " Anu asked.

"Yeah, they feel cheated. Incase if Sam has given up, may be I wouldn't dare to fall in love and trust anyone again that soon. I mean we are supposed to think about all such stuffs beforehand. I always believed Sam would fight. And she finally stood for us. I'm happy now, " Arun said.

"And some guys cheat on girls, and girls lose faith on men. Some girls play with emotions. They think having huge list of admirers and unread messages is cool, boys would lose faith on women. " Anu snapped.

"Yeah, we even saw people breaking up after 7 year long relationship, it depends on people. We can't guarantee, they wouldn't change. But it's rare." Arun said.

"But love is divine. It deserves a chance. You shouldn't give up without trying to keep it. But should also preserve self respect. Isn't it? " Anu asked.

" Absolutely. Singles give best advices always. Don't know why! " Arun laughed, "ofcourse especially writers can do anything! Keen observes you people are." He added.

"Anu! Guess what, I'm selected for a role in your serial. " Megha barged into Anu's room after sometime.

"That's awesome! Neha ma'am is particular about casting. Did they give you script? " Anu asked.

"Yes. They told me to go through old episodes. I should join after 2 days in the shoot. I didn't really expect this!" Megha is all happy.

She also introduced her other friend and Raghu to Megha personally after the completion of shoot in Megha's first day .

"Let us show this production house to your friend. Neha ma'am gave us that assignment to make her acquainted here. " Raghu said.
