We went out of the restaurant, my cheeks flushed red while Song Kang only had a smug look on his face. I rumbled under my breath, pulling out my umbrella to cover myself from the drizzle.

I raised my hand forward to feel the cold drizzle, cocking my head to the side, nudging him. "Hm?"

I pointed towards the umbrella with my eyes, indicating if he wants to share an umbrella. It would be rude if I just leave him without any shelter from the rain, he might get sick.

His lips tugged in a smirk. "You just want to cuddle up with me under the umbrella, no?" he teased, making me roll my eyes again.

Screw manners.

I'm just kidding, please forgive my insolent tongue!

Gosh, did I just curse inside my head?!

I decided to just glare at the flirty man and took a step forward, leaving him in front of the restaurant.

My legs quicken in pace when I heard his booming laughter, my lips in a low grunt when he draped an arm around my shoulder.

"You're really interesting, no girl had flat out ignored me like you. I'll be by your side from now on, you sure are blessed! " he smiled brightly, my shoulders slumped further.

"More like cursed..." I mumbled under my breath but he only ruffled my hair, making me gape at him as he ran away amidst the rain. I glared at him as I quicken my pace to do my revenge.

"Yah! Come back here!"

Jisoo-unnie frowned, touching my forehead with the back of her hand before letting out a long sigh. She called Chaeyoung to bring the vegetable soup.

"Jenduekie, you don't run under the rain. Look, you got sick!" Jisoo-unnie frowned as I sneezed, my body shivering from the cold. I tugged the comforter closer to my body, pouting at unnie.

"But Song Kang was being a tease! He's making my blood boil-- ACHOO," I sneezed, covering my mouth with a tissue. I sulked, sinking further on my bed.

We ended up bickering, another term for fighting under the rain, we were stubborn and won't back down from the fight. When I arrived home, dropped off by that monkey who always had a smirk on his lips.

What's with him and smirking?

Song Kang and I were wet from head to toe, I was relieved when my phone is waterproof, unlike some unlucky monkey. I mentally snickered.

His pain is my happiness...

That's just mean but he's an exception.

He just ruined my short happiness when he bragged about being able to buy a new phone in an online shopping app.

It all happened the day before, it's currently Monday morning. The girls wouldn't go immediately to work since they became worried about my state.

Guilt sank in inside me as I frowned, hating myself because I got sick under the rain.

"I'm sorry for being sick, it won't happen again," my lips tugged down in a frown, lowering my head. They only sighed, a sad smile on their lips.

"You really should, we're really worried about you," I felt my heart tugged slightly, small tears forming on my eyelids.
