"OH, BRIAR DARLING!", Mrs Addison called out with a big smile on her face as she saw her daughter enter the house. "Did you enjoy the sleepover?" She asked Briar as she fussed with the flowers in the vase.

"Yes, I did enjoy thank you mum," Briar politely smiled.

"Now, get yourself cleaned up dear, your father and I want to talk to you," Mrs Addison told the small girl with a serious face. "And wear something nicely will you? We have special guests."

With a strained smile, Briar made her way up to her room.

Special guests? Who?

Briar climbed out of the steaming shower and wrapped herself in a white fluffy towel. As she began putting moisturiser on her dry face, her phone began ringing indicating that someone was facetiming her. She took a quick look at who it was and saw none other than the boy that has been creeping his way into her heart ever since they met. Biting her lip, she quickly threw on a random hoodie before answering the call. Everett's face popped up on the screen, handsome as always.

He was wearing a black hoodie with the hood covering his head, and his gorgeous brown curls peaking out. Everett had just been to the gym so he had a bit of sweat lining hi forehead, which Briar honestly thought made him look shiny and she giggled to herself.

"Hi!" Briar grinned into the camera as she began brushing through her knotted her.

"Hey princess," Everett replied chuckling slightly at her mood.

"What's up? Were you just at the gym?"

"Yeah," Everett huffed tiredly making Briar smile even more.

"Are you going back home now?" Briar asked him as she now began applying some light makeup.

"I was," Everett trailed off. "But then I thought of you."

His sweet words made Briar blush as she covered her cheeks with her dainty hands to try and hide from Everett. However, his laugh soon made Briar realise that she had been caught.

"Please don't hide when you bluch darling, It's my favourite view," Everett shrugged nonchalantly as if his words weren't going to make Briar have a heart attack.

"Stop!" Briar whined as she tried to fight a smile.

"Anyway," Everett continued their earlier conversation. "Would it be alright with you if I came over your house? Rowan's got someone over and I'd rather not be around when they begin fucking," Everett scoffed as he shuddered at the last thought.
