"What happened next?" I asked. "After I broke into the house, the owner came home while I was still in there. He attacked me so I fought back. I grabbed a lamp that was on his coffee table and hit him until he stopped moving. I called the police and my parents. I was sent to juvie shortly after for a couple years. I was only 14 and they didn't convict me as an adult. I got out, four years later my mom passed." She said. "So how did you get in the asylum?" I asked. "Suicidal thoughts and attempts. One day someone found me on the side of the street after I cut my wrist with a piece of a broken beer bottle. I almost bled out. The person called 911 and the ambulance came and took me to the hospital. Then they sent me to a different asylum for a couple years, I got treatment there while I was on suicide watch. After that they transferred me to ours where I continued to receive treatment." She said.
