That day Levi had woken up very groggy and also in a lot of pain in his right shoulder he felt a road thinking maybe something had happened but then just settling on the fact that he and maybe slept on it wrong he got out of bed legs first throwing his knees over the side of the bed and standing up when all of a sudden he felt a major jolt of pain shoot up his left leg almost connecting to his right shoulder it causes him to collapse on the ground wincing and pain he lets out an exaggerated grunt of pain holding back everything he could on one knee he tried to stand up again but this time the pain shot up again but worse every time Levi try to stand felt more and more pain

Marcus rushed to the pack doctor the second he heard that his father was entering critical condition his heart rate had stopped and was on the brink of death Marcus outside of the door stood there half crying while being held back by two of his betas to prevent him from going into the room screaming at the top of his lungs to save his father he could only watch helplessly as you watched his father struggle and immense pain he hated being useless every ounce of him being held back but he knew even if he got in there he'd be no more help in fact he'd only make things worse but he couldn't help it it was more instinct than anything wolf cared for his pack didn't abandon them in their time of need and Marcus wasn't going to abandon his father of all people the person who would give him a second chance at life took him and gave him a home without even realizing it Marcus dropped to his knees and hands eyes bolted open crying hard it's almost as if someone had flooded his eyes he wouldn't stop crying the loud beeping of the heart monitor going on for a solid 10 seconds before silence

Levi grabbed its chest when he felt a sudden pain shoot worse than anything he had ever felt like having 10,000 blades pulled in and out constantly while having his wound castrated shut by flame only to be stabbed again and again only then once more to be burned he let out a blood curdling scream of agony howling at the searing pain in his chest he couldn't stop even when his voice stopped working he dropped a hands and knees practically crying his eyes out like Marcus but then his mind stopped realizing he had thought of Marcus he then saw it everything he felt something like a candle being blown out as he looked up and fear and shocked is pupils dilated heavily almost the size if someone dotted his pupples with a pen he moved his hand to his chest feeling his own heartbeat while his ears rang with the sound of the heart monitor who let it go along eerie blasting noise into his ears he moved to try and cover the sound but once more he began to scream this time he was on his feet he began stuttering around the room hitting things breaking stepping on glass it felt like his entire body was being forced into some sort of torture the noise wouldn't stop only growing louder and louder when finally he felt something snap not anything physical but mental he moved his hand to his chest once more seen blood spelling out and bleeding through his shirt Levi didn't freak out simply unbuttoning his three shirts to see the massive gaping hole in his chest blood pouring out constantly like a flood or a hurricane this is someone that shot him point blank and chest with a shotgun he couldn't scream and he didn't move he just stood there feeling the pain until he looked up

Marcus and Levi made eye contact the red eye of his mate coming into the white eye of his own the white eye crying looking bloodshot with the red eye looking as if it was staring down death itself both feeling the same feeling sadness anger as the two of them stared at each other there was only one thing connecting to two of them nothing but the raw unchecked emotions that were inside of them at that very moment Levi feeling the pain of Marcus's father's death Marcus falling into the depression of not having his mate and seeing his father die in front of his eyes the two of them in that moment had no differences it was just the two of them existing on the same planet same surface feeling nothing but pure unbridled unchecked fear until suddenly Levi felt sadness take him over breaking the connection

For the split second Marcus had seen his mate he had felt happiness in the moment finally knowing Levi was alive and not dead but he saw his condition missing an arm both eyes robotic and another one of his arms of prosthetic limb with the mark that he used to have nothing but a patch of darkened skin not even showing the star or the paw of him and Ryan the only symbol that pertain to the two of them was the crescent Moon in his eye this one was black surrounded by Red while there's was black surrounded by white when Mark is stared at Levi that moment he saw a mix of fear but also hate he knew Levi was mad but not this mad point where he'd look at him with the intent to kill
