A card flips across the room seamlessly as Leo gently relaxes in the room trying to think of better times before this chaotic event he had a deck of cards in his hand that he would use the fidget with or play card games with his packmates at least when he was at the pack house with him the omegas in the betas it was more relaxed but as he was the personal attendant to both Marcus and Ryan both future alphas of the deep east and west packs separately eventually to come together at least that's the hope his life is pretty damn chaotic

On more than one occasion he had to personally attend events more with Marcus as he was the diplomatic one often visiting separate tribes and packs to establish treaties talk about politics keep the peace and establish new relationships normal stuff that he wouldn't really care about his job was to be a bodyguard and nothing more but it was what he was raised to do so he didn't complain about it much in fact there were times he took pride in it like his father before him Leo was destined to be an omega from the birth which led him to be more of an outcast at least amongst the betas

In lycanthropic standards it goes like this alphas are the leaders the true Masters of The pack they're often either born as alphas or given the title via trials and stuff like that next were the betas the normal citizens and normal people Middle ground nothing too bad but then the omegas they were to put it nicely considered the outcasts they weren't unaccepted and packs as they were quite common to see but they were the ones who would work the bad jobs they would be considered lower class or even homeless sometimes at least depending on the situation but then on a whole other level is in aluna they are considered gods generally a human who is cross-pollinated with the gods themselves they are highly rare and highly revered

They are quite powerful both in the spiritual aspect and in the physical aspect most alunas possess a skill they are greatly talented at for example of the former aluna of nature she was quite the skilled gardener and obvious task for someone who is related to the god of nature itself but one that possessed quite a benefit nonetheless when on the spiritual side of things though alunas have one role appease the spirits and keep them happy spirits are powerful beings often of Extra-Terrestrial nature but they are still powerful nonetheless they can both influence the real world and be influenced by the real world self most spirits are born from an idea or thing there are multitude of spirits consisting to elements or even spirits that consist of religion like the spirit of Christianity compared to the spirit of plastic both differing in strength but powerful in their own aspect

Alunas is do their job by communicating with the spirits and finding ways to give them offerings or something that will just boost their power to keep them happy and exchange for doing this werewolves and any creatures that appease the spirits getting their benefits or also blessings benefits are just physical increases in the supply or ideology while blessings are a whole nother thing that Leo didn't quite want to get into his thoughts quite yet at least as he was only reviewing the basics for his test tomorrow

But for the basics blessings are special little powers granted to either werewolves or other kin alike this can range from anything to increase strength to the literal ability to destroy matter it always depends on the level of the spirit but it's still nonetheless possible

Leo thinking to himself all of this in his head reminding it for his test tomorrow then remembered of a story one that was told to young cubs and other can alike to keep them in line for fear of punishment and for fear of the darkness the story went like this there were once two spirits the spirit of darkness in the spirit of light the spirit of darkness represented destruction well the spirit of light represented creation like in any other religion but from these two spirits stemmed thousands of others but the story itself focuses on one the spirit of blood the spirit itself wasn't that powerful as it's only ability was to influence human health in a very minor way but the spirit itself was the first of its kind to develop free will from The Spirit of darkness the spirit of blood was considered weak spirit which infuriated it to an ungodly level when it gained its sentience the first thing it did was began to influence human health drastically or at least as much as he could he created bloodborne diseases influencing both the spirit of death and the spirit of diseases allowing their power to flow into him directly eventually he became extremely powerful

To the point where he had the physical ability to fuse the spiritual aspects of a spiritual being to the physical beings in the real world this was considered an extremely dangerous power and those who weld it were either highly revered or considered extremely dangerous the spirit of blood obviously was extremely dangerous to test the level of power he had he created the first aluna of fire by fusing a spirit of fire unwillingly into the wife of an alpha werewolf who insulted the spirit of blood but instead of getting the reaction he wanted that of hatred and sorrow the woman reacted kindly considering this to be a gift from the spirit of light but she now possessed the ability to create fire itself the spirit of blood became enraged to the point where he took the woman's soul from her body forcefully

This was a practice that only the spirit of darkness was allowed to do as it created what were known as hallows physical beings with no spiritual aspect no free will no minds they became nothing but slaves to those who remove their soul it was outlawed by the spirit of both darkness and light the fear of the technique being used to overthrow the two gods itself with the very delicate balance that was already in place and the spirit of blood had just done it using the soul of the woman he told the woman to insult the spirit of light and that is what she did she said extremely vulgar things the spirit calling in a false god a deity unworthy of its power this enraging the spirit destroyed the woman's body immediately as punishment for the things she Said not realizing that accessing the spirit of darkness is power destruction corrupted it the spirit of light fell down as the corruption removed a good portion of its power the spirit of darkness infuriated that his power was used without permission and that his better half the spirit of light was just weakened by the whims of a spiritual being who was greedy immediately and casted a punishment considered unworthy and inhumane to even the worst of spirits in a blind rage the spirit of darkness exiled the spirit of blood

exile strips his Spirit of all of its power forcing it to become nothing but a wandering ghost on the mortal plane but the spirit of blood found a way around before having all of his power stripped away he had used the soul of the woman who was a new aluna infused the soul into himself and possessed the woman thus creating the aluna of blood

The aluna of blood had the personality of the woman with the intent of the spirit of blood the two very deadly combo the woman murdered her own husband out of greed and using the power she was given gained the ability to control the physiological aspects of a human being and any other kin the power was known as altercation and was immediately outlawed with the aluna being executed as soon as she was found but once an aluna is created a cycle is born this is a spiritual rebirth that brings the spirit back into a host who lives through a series of events that exposes them to both the spiritual world and the truth of the real world and brings their power back full cycle

Thus every time a spirit of blood is then transferred into a human making them an aluna of blood they are immediately brought before the prophecy pack and condoned to execution to prevent the disruption of secrecy between the supernatural and the physical world alike as it is already extremely delicate
