⌘ Chapter 16 ⌘

"I didn't know that you eat alone too, (Y/ln)-san" I invited Ishikawa to have lunch with me since it might be helpful with making Asano jealous.

But.

I got no reaction. Just the usual. Man, what a kuudere.

"Yeah, I do" I replied, twirling the chopsticks in my hand.

"I just thought you'll be with the big five " he smiled sheepishly.

"They're loud" I groaned and the blonde ended up laughing at me. He look so cute, just like Kou Mukami from Diabolik Lovers.

They have the same blonde hair.

"(Y/ln)-san?" He asked, I snapped out of my trance and noticed that my hand was already messing with his hair.

"Sorry, it just really beautiful" I complimented and he blushed and looked away.

"Yours is beautiful too" he said still blushing.

"Oh was it?~" you flirted and winked at him as you noticed Asano walked up to the rooftop.

"U-uhhh..." Ishikawa tried to find the words but he only ended up blushing silently.

"(Y/n)"

"Hmm?" I hummed showing disinterest as I looked at Gakushuu.

"There's a new arcade in the mall we frequent, wanna go after classes?" He suddenly invited. I wanted to say yes so bad but, this is for the sake of our plan.

"No, I'm planning on making Ishikawa-kun treat me icecream later because he was writting too slow I missed a bit on the lesson" I reasoned. I could see Yukito frozed in his spot.

"Are you willing?" Gakushuu's gaze turned to Ishikawa's direction. I was waiting for him to glare but he was just looking at him with a blank face.

"Y-yeah, I owe (Y/ln)-san one" Ishikawa gulped and nodded politely.

"Well then, next time~ I'm going there later, just come when you want I'll be there 'til six" with that, my boyfriend walked off.

"What was that, (Y/ln)-san?" Ishikawa breathed in relief. I laughed at his expression that's almost deadpan.

"So, we will go later, right?" I asked, changing the topic.

"Yeah sure" he smiled and nodded.

"So, how did it go?" Rio asked as we got off the train, Rio and Kanzaki decided to come over once again.

"Mehh, it's hopeless" I groaned as we started walking neighboor into another one 'til we reach mine. The scent of an ending summer breeze infiltrating my nostrils, it wouldn't be long 'til the season change into a cold one.

"Try harder!" My blonde friend cheered as she as well enjoyed the current scent of the wind before it change.

"I know, I'm trying" I slid the door open of a familiar traditional house. Taking my shoes off as I glided my hand against the wooden walls, from the hallway into the kitchen.

"Grandma, I'm home" I greeted, followed by Kanzaki and Rio. We all bid our excuse as we set our stuffs down to rest.

"Man, my back hurts!" Rio complained, "is your cheek and neck fine?" Rio approached Kanzaki, checking every small parts of her neck, tilting side to side.

"Why, what happened?" I asked a bit surprised.

"Oh..." Rio paused for a moment, to probably think of an excuse, "...

Kanzaki got hit by a ball during P.E" she said, her stare shifting almost everywhere but my eyes. Her current movements exposes her lies but I decider not to interfer and give her privacy.

"I think Asano do get jealous but he could just see through your actions easily" Kanzaki said, changing the subject successfully.

"I don't know, I'll try again tomorrow" I sighed sadly, losing hope to see him get jealous, he's way too calm and quick whitted to not suspect anything.
