"He that has light within his own clear breast May sit in the centre, and enjoy bright day: But he that hides a dark soul and foul thoughts Benighted walks under the mid-day sun; Himself his own dungeon."
~John Milton~

I hissed, groaning in pain when my bottom hit the ground. Yoongi sure is heavy even with his petite body.

"Señorita!" Someone called and I looked up to meet the eyes of the huntsman.

He was holding a large piece of wood which I suspect, the thing he used to knock the captain out. His clothes were torned and bruises littered his body and face. The cut on his right cheekbone caught my attention the most because it looks fresh.

"Seokjin, what happened to you?" I asked worriedly.

"That's a story to tell another time, señorita. For now, let's focus on getting out of this place." He stated, striding to where I was.

I slowly removed the captain's knocked out form from me and stood up dusting myself off. The huntsman grabbed my hand and started walking to the dark path where I think he came from but before he could go any further, I dug my feet to the ground making him hault.

"Why did you stop walking? What's the matter, señorita?" The huntsman asked curiously.

"We aren't getting out of here without Yoongi." I stated turning to the captain's knocked body.

"Yoongi? Who is he?" The huntsman queried, following me.

"A friend. He saved me." I answered, lifting the captain's body and wrapping one of his arms around my shoulders. I struggled to lift his whole body and I almost stumbled but the nearby wall prevented the motion to happen.

Looking up, I saw the huntsman staring at me blankly and I raised a brow. "Aren't you going to help me with him?"

The huntsman let out an annoyed sigh. "Why bother bringing him with us? He just helped you once and bringing him would just make it harder for us to escape from this hellhole." He complained.

Rolling my eyes, I shoot a glare in his direction. "For your information, Mr. No Name, Yoongi is the first friend I had in this cursed land you grew in. He found me first before anyone else. Before the hatter and before you. Also, he didn't saved me once. He's been saving me the moment I stepped a foot in this land. So if you don't want to help me with him when you're the one who knocked him out, We'll both find our way out without you." I sarcastically remarked.

The huntsman scoffed at me before turning his back to me. He started walking to the dark path and my face fell realizing my harsh words. I stayed quiet, biting my lip as I watched his silhoutte disappear in the shadows.

Sighing to myself, I adjusted my grip on the captain's limped body before taking the same path the huntsman took. My pace was slow because of the weight I'm carrying but that's not the most difficult part. The path I'm taking is too dark and I can't make out where I was heading. The path also seems to get more narrow the deeper I go. After a while of walking, I felt like my shoulder would give up on me and detach itself from my limbs so I stopped and placed the captain's body softly to the ground before sitting beside of him, catching my breath.

I turn to face the still form of the captain and awkwardly laughed. "Seokjin must have hit you too hard."

Bringing my hand up, I unconsciously run my fingers on his raven locks. The tangles untangle when my fingers run on them and I couldn't help but smile.
His hair is soft but in a huge disarray.

I missed doing this to Jungkook.

Flashbacks of those times when Jungkook and I were enjoying each other's presence clouded my mind and I couldn't help but let out a bitter chuckle. Those times I would run my fingers on his brown locks and earn a kiss or a cuddle from him, his eyes sparkling in happiness, makes me miss him more.
