Nearly a year has passed since Naruto told Yui and Fuu about his past, and since then, he started training both of them to be as strong as they can be. They weren't the only ones training, Naruto also got some useful things up his sleeve during that time, too. One of those things was the fox summoning contract. While Jiraiya was going back to Konoha after his memory wipe, Naruto went to Mount Myoboku in order to get his name off of the contract.

It ended in a confrontation that resulted in all the toads forgetting who Naruto was.

After all that, Naruto was told about a special technique by Kurama. The technique involves gathering all the nature energy around you, absorbing it, and using it to increase all of his abilities. Kurama said that this 'sage mode' is something that only some summons have, and only the foxes, toads, and snakes are some of the few among them that have access to this powerful ability. Naruto, having the rinnagan, was able to learn this much faster and easier than it would normally take for anyone else. Jiraiya for example, didn't have perfect sage mode even though he had trained in it much longer than Naruto has.

Naruto's training never stopped, and he usually sent some clones to the nearby waterfall to train in it. He didn't prioritize his training, instead he focused on Yui and Fuu, since they asked for training by him.

Yui leaned things much faster than Naruto expected. The girl was a sponge for knowledge, whenever given a book to read, she finished it within the day. It was incredible for someone who didn't get any education growing up.

The same went for jutsu, too. When ever they checked what chakra natures she had, the paper got soaked, crumbled in a ball, and turned to dust. Having a water and earth affinity, she was naturally good at medical and defense jutsu respectively. The oddball was the lightning affinity, but having it means that she can dish out massive amounts of power so she won't be defenseless.

With every aspect of ninjutsu combat covered with her affinities, she could be considered a prodigy in any village, let alone the small one she was from. Naruto, thanks to the rinnagan and Kurama's training, was able to teach her everything they knew, so she could protect herself, and the new village. Overall, she blew Naruto's expectations out of the water with the speed she was learning everything, even if she still didn't stand a chance in a spar with either jinchuriki.

Naruto wasn't the only one teaching her either, Fuu also helped his his teachings, focusing on her taijutsu, and Naruto on ninjutsu mainly. In terms of combat, Fuu wasn't a pushover, she could beat Naruto with his base sharingan active, but not when he starts using the EMS or Kurama's chakra. Which is still impressive considering how strong the kyubi is, compared to his siblings.

Despite all this, however, Naruto could see that the village still didn't trust or respect her. Fuu had to stop him multiple times from hospitalizing people for calling her names that he was familiar with. He was tired of this shit, and couldn't wait for his opportunity to come to make them realize that they're wrong about her.

Right now, they were right outside the village training. Yui was training to raise her chakra reserves in order to increase the potential and effectiveness of her jutsu. Fuu, meanwhile, was meditating while also activating their biju chakra, steadily increasing the amount she can have active at a time. Both of them also had weights on in the form of seals, Yui having 15 pounds for each limb (because she's 7), and Fuu with 45 pounds for each.

Naruto was currently sitting with Shibuki in his office, talking to him about a plan he has for making Fuu get treated better by everyone. "Sounds kinda risky, but if you're confident that this will work, then I guess you have my approval." Shibuki said.

"Thank you. Trust me, they won't stand a chance." Naruto said as he stood up and teleported to where the girls were training. "How're things looking?" He shouted, getting both their attention. Yui ran up to him enthusiastically. "Daddy, whatch this!" She said as she held out her hand. Chakra started swirling in her hand until it made a perfect blue sphere. "I finally got the rasengan down, and it only took me three days." She said triumphantly.
