Hope swelled in Scarlett's chest when she saw a letter in her mailing box. Her fingers carressed the delicate paper, opening the letter. Her hope deflated like a baloon when she read who signed it.

She told Julian this is what she wanted; why did she feel as if she made a mistake? Regretful orange and nervous purple sparked around her. She didn't know if he was alive. A single teardrop splattered on the letter.
Scarlett just wanted him back, not the lies that followed him. Though Nicolas was a constant, Julian would always hold her heart.

I think I might do a 'letter ~ drabble' series for most of the main characters. I don't think I'll do one for Jacks, but I would like to do the others. Excluding the author's notes, this is exactly 100 words :)
