I follow Peter in the air, watching as he jumps over a tall metal gate and slides over a parked car. Still running, he passes two men playing Ping-Pong in their garage.

"Hey, guys. Good game. Have fun."

A dog runs towards him, barking and trying to lick his face. I want to go down there a pet it, but I resist the urge. Peter retrieves a ball with his web and throws it to the side for the dog.

"Hey, hey, buddy. Sorry, no time to play. Here, go fetch."

We start to pick up speed, not wanting to loose the men. He swings through the neighborhood, shooting webs on tree branches and streetlights, with me by his side.

"Whoo! Now, this is more like it."

He accidentally shoots a web on a treehouse and pulls it off the tree. This makes him lose his grasp and land on the roof of a shed, causing it to collapse under his weight.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa!"

Peter rips through the door, runs across the yard, and slams through a wooden fence. He leaps into the air, only to land on a small toy car. It rolls forward and he loses his balance.

"You really couldn't get any clumsier, could you?" I laugh, watching all of this chaos take place below me.

"That is not true! Woah!" he yells as he gets tangled in a soccer net and stumbles through a hedge.

"You sure about that, Parker?"

He ignores me and waves to a man having a barbecue. "Smells really good!"

Ferris Bueller's Day Off plays on a TV in someone else's back yard that Peter is destroying.

"Great movie!"

He skims over the pool, splashing water onto people at the party and making them scream in surprise. He then gets tangled in fairy lights and crashes into another yard, right beside two little girls having a sleepover in a tent.

"Ugh... Oh, hey, guys." The eyes on Peters suit malfunction and a high pitch scream comes from the two little girls as the tent flips over and they run back towards their house. "No! No!"

"Congratulations, you just ruined their sleepover," I tease.

"I didn't mean too!"

We continue to get closer to the van speeding down the street, and I can't help but feel proud. This is my first time doing anything like this and so far, it's gone pretty well so.

"Almost got you," I whisper to myself.

"Thought you got away from us, didn't you? We got you right where we want you." I hear Peter say quietly over comms.

When we have finally caught up to the van, Peter jumps in the air towards it. "Surprise!"

I hear a loud screech, followed by Peters screams. I look to see him being taken up higher into the sky by what looks like a man in a suit that somewhat resembles a vulture. I quickly turn around, blasting into the sky. The wind causes my eyes to water, but I continue looking up to Peter, not wanting to loose sight of him in the dark sky.

I can no longer resist the urge to look down, and when I do, I see that we are thousands of feet up into the sky. I gasp, feeling myself get dizzy with an anxiety overload. I feel my powers dwindling as I become weaker, but the fear of something happening to Peter keeps me going.

"Gracee? Gracee, are you there?!" Peter yells helplessly.

"Peter, I'm coming! Just hold on, I'm almost there."

The spider symbol on the back of his suit lights up twice and a parachute emerges. It pulls him backwards, out of the claws of the vulture, and right towards me. Before I can dodge him, our bodies collide. I become entangled in the parachute with Peter and struggle to untangle myself.

I release an ear piecing scream as we fall, not knowing what is beneath us. I try to look around, but all I can see is the inside of the parachute swarming around me, giving glimpses of the starry sky every now and then. I try to use my powers to stop, but my mind is racing and I'm unable to focus on anything other than my stomach rising in my throat.

"Peter..." I whisper as I start hyperventilating.

"Gracee, it's okay! We'll be okay!"

He grabs my hand and I squeeze it as tight as I can. I get a glimpse of how close we are to the ground and can't help the scream that escapes my throat. Peter's scream merges with mine, but we are silenced when we hit the ground. I feel a cold ache spread across my body and suddenly, I can't breathe. Water goes up my nose and fills my mouth. I realize that we didn't hit the ground, we hit water! Although, I don't know which is better...

I thrash around wildly, trying to untangle myself. We sink deeper and deeper, and the already dark water gets darker. My lungs burn as they fill with water and I blindly reach around, searching for Peter's hand that was separated from mine, due to the impact of the water.

I hear something else hit the water and can faintly see a bright light coming towards us, before it picks us up and shoots into the sky. I gasp for air the second I am taken out of the water and cough uncontrollably as it comes from my mouth. I weakly look to our rescuer, to see that it is Tony in his Iron Man suit. I sigh in relief and look over at Peter, who is trying to see who it is too. He relaxes when he sees that it's my dad, or Mr. Stark, as he calls him.

"Oh, hey," he says, his voice weak.

"I guess that wasn't much of a surprise." My voice breaks, partly from almost drowning, but mainly from the fear of knowing I am about to be killed.
