Age: 16
This is based off of my favorite ABBA song, "Slipping Through My Fingers"! Which was trending on TikTok for a while!

"Hey kiddo, you busy-"

Tony was taken aback as he walked into your room and saw your bedroom was dark and empty. He bit down on his bottom lip and pulled out his cellphone, dialing your number. The line was ringing, and you answered.

"Dad, I'm out with my friends, I'll be home in a few hours. Bye!" You exclaimed over the phone and immediately hung up.

Tony pulled the phone away from his face, just glaring at it. "She rushed me off of the phone... Rude" He muttered, slipping his phone back into his pocket and dragging his feet all the way to the living room, where Pepper was sitting on the couch with a bowl of popcorn right next to her.

"She didn't want to come?" Pepper looked up at him. Tony threw himself onto the couch and laid his head in her lap. "It's official. I've lost her" Tony whimpered like an injured puppy. "What?" Pepper questioned.

"She's out with her friends, and didn't even let me talk to her on the phone. In fact, she rushed me off! Isn't that rude?!" Tony cried, shooting up from Pepper's lap and looking into her eyes.

Pepper couldn't help but let out a sigh. "Tony, shes 16. Shes not going to be a baby forever. Let her have fun with her friends! We can watch a movie together tomorrow night" Pepper said, trying to put her hand on top of Tony's shoulder, until he jumped up from the couch.

"Remember, we used to do everything together! She used to go to my meetings, I took her to that shawarma place after the aliens invaded New York-"

"Tony, you forced her to go to meetings, and you had to take her to the shawarma restaurant because she watched you almost die on television"

Tony rolled his eyes. "I'm trying to have an emotional moment, and you're poisoning it" Tony pointed at his fiancé who couldn't help but scoff.

"I mean, look at this! This... This... funny little girl right after I got back from the cave!"

Tony picked up a picture frame that contained a photo of you atop of his shoulders, giving the camera a big grin as Tony had his hand up, waving towards the camera.

He handed the picture to Pepper, who couldn't help but smile at the sweet photo. "Pep, I never thought I'd have these type of feelings that I'm having right now. It's like... She's just... Slipping through my fingers and I can't help but have the feeling that I'm losing her forever. That she won't need me anymore."

Pepper had set the photo aside, and pulled Tony back onto the couch so she could look him in the eyes, and hold his hands and intertwine her fingers with his.

"I know that this is hard. I really do, because for the last sixteen years, I've watched her grow up too. One thing I can say, is that you're the best father to her. You spare every minute you can for her, you make sure she's okay, and the fact that you are feeling this way, means that you've done the best job you could possibly do" Pepper smiled, and placed a small kiss onto Tony's forehead.

Later that night, it had been late when you returned home. You kicked off your sneakers at the front door and threw your jacket onto your couch as you walked to your bedroom to get into your pajamas and call it a night.

When you flipped the light switch to your room, you were startled to see your father wearing a stainless steel colander on his head, along with holding a spatula in each hand as he stood on your bed.

You looked down on the floor and saw another set of kitchen utensils for you to put on, just like you'd done when you were a child.

"Dad, it's two in the morning-"
"Are you surrendering then?" He exclaimed.
"...No... But..."
"Ahhh, you're hesitating!"

"No I am not, I'm am just tired. Can we do this tomorrow?" You begged. Tony jumped from your bed and picked up the colander and put it on your head. "Sleep is for the weak" He smirked. You couldn't help but smile as you picked up a spatula, and began to pretend duel with Tony.

Both you and Tony had the biggest smiles on your faces as you ran throughout your house, chasing each other with utensils and screaming out war cries, and all around just being silly.

It had hit 3:00 in the morning, and you were on the couch, curled in a ball and fast asleep after you and Tony agreed to take a "five minute break". Tony took you into his arms and carried you to bed, and tucked you into the covers, placing a kiss to your forehead before whispering to you;

"G'night kiddo. See you in the morning"
