Steve and I arrived as we both landed safely on the ground. Peggy connected us with Howard Stark who flew us over the base. It was a bit of a bumpy ride, and an awkward one once Stark began to hit on Peggy.

Steve and I moved quickly through the woods. The dense fog and dark skies hiding us perfectly. We stopped behind a couple of trees as we both stared forward. A large building with watch lights could be seen ahead of us. A couple of men yelling in German were shouting in the distance.

"When we get over there just follow my lead." Steve whispered to me. I looked over to him and shook my head.

"This isn't my first breakout, Rogers." I said quietly. Steve turned to me looking concerned. I sighed and rolled my eyes, "Another story for another day. Lets go."

Before we could move a couple of trucks began to drive down the road beside us. We both lowered ourselves to the ground as we watched them drive by. I looked at Steve and noticed the expression on his face. He seemed to have the same idea I did. The last truck drove by and we both crouched behind it. Trying to be as quiet as possible. Steve jumped on it first. He held his hand out as I jumped on as well. I grabbed his hand as he pulled me in.

We both stood up in the truck and looked inside. Two men in full black uniforms and goggles looked at us surprised. I peered down at the sleeves of their jackets and noticed the familiar symbol sown on. Hydra.

"Shit." I muttered to myself. The men quickly began to attack us. In this time though they were weaker then the Hydra I knew. It only took a couple of hits before Steve and I knocked them out. Steve quickly tossed their bodies off of the truck. We sat quietly as we felt the truck move on final time before stopping. Steve put his shield in front of him as I hid behind.

Footsteps walked up to the back of the truck. I watch as a hand brought the curtain back. He paused as he saw the shield in front of him. Before he could react Steve slammed the shield in his face knocking him out. Steve looked at me as I couldn't help but chuckle a bit. He was figuring out his way with a shield quickly. We both jumped out quietly. I bent down and grabbed the Hydra agents gun. It was differently then anything I had seen. Definitely was more advance then the ones we had. Steve paused and looked at me concerningly as I held the gun in my hand.

"What it could be useful." I said simply. Steve just shook his head. We quickly moved through the base. Avoiding any contact with other agents. I looked around noticing the advance tech Hydra had. Definitely explain how they managed to come back after so many years. We made our way into the building before arriving in the cells. Steve knocked out a couple of guards as we stood over a large cell.

Steve and I peered down as a group of prisoners stood up from the ground and looked at us. They stared at Steve's ridiculous uniform in confusion.

"Who are you supposed to be?" A man asked.

"I'm uh...I'm Captain America." Steve said. This as the first Steve had really called himself that. I smiled as they men suddenly looked at me. I looked down confusingly as they wondered the same thing about me.

"Oh no, I'm just Layla. No weird name." I said quickly. Steve quickly grabbed the keys from the guards body. We moved around the room one by one as we let out every prisoner. I looked around the crowd as I tried to find Bucky. I didn't recognize anyone in these cells though.

"Cap," I called out as I ran up to him, "No sign of Bucky." Steve looked around before looking at one of the prisoners.

"Is there anybody else? I'm looking for Sergeant James Barnes." Steve asked.

"There's an isolation ward in the factory but no one's ever come back from it." The man said. I looked over at Steve as he nodded to me. We both quickly moved through the building looking for the isolation ward. We fought off every agent we could as we made our way through. Steve an I arrived to a dark brick covered hallway. We paused as a small man in a hat looked over at us. Before we could do anything he quickly ran off.
