I smiled at the mirror.

Gwen is already done for my make-up.

"You look stunning, Syd!" She said. I kinda blushed from what she said. She lean on me. "This is officially, welcome to the Family."

I look at my reflection, she said I look gorgeus even though I asked her to put just a minimal make-up. Auntie Eyra suggested beige color theme for our wedding day, she suggested also some pictures that may inspire the theme. I did a lot of things from papers to my gown. Hindi ko lang nakita ang kay Sir Heath dahil pinagbawalan na kaming magkita. My gown was perfectly fit to my body.

This day is different from what I imagine before and based from my friends who's getting married. Iba pala ang mararamdaman mo kapag nandoon kana sa mismong pangyayari.

Isa-isang pumasok ang mga pinsan ni Sir Heat na mga babae. They congratulates me and welcome to their Clan.

We took some pictures and as we laugh to each other.. ay parang nako-konsensiya ako. They didn't know what's the biggest reason why we're getting married today. From being a fake fiance then now.

Pero gaya nga nang sinabi sa'kin ni Sir Heath: it is a white lies, if we go along then so be it.

Alam kong mahal ko siya at pakiramdam ko naman ay ganoon din talaga siya sa 'kin. Mula noong araw na inaasikaso namin ang mga papeles, hindi ako makapaniwala at napaisip kung paano'ng hindi kami maging maayos? Trial and Error? But then again, I agreed to this. And when there's no longer hope between us, we will call it quits and go on with our life. It's a win-win situation.

After some of his cousin visited me in my room, his parents and grandparents ang sumunod.

I look at his Grandmother who's in wheelchair giving me a wonder smile.

"Congratulation for the both of you, Hija," Madam Ysa, Sir Heath's Mom, hugged me. "We pray for your love and wedding."

Madam Ysa can't help but to be emotional.

Sino ba naman kasi, tinanong niya ako noon kung may boyfriend na ba ako at sagot ko naman ay wala tapos maba-balitaan na lang na engaged na and then a year after, getting married? Tsk.

"Congrats, Hija. Welcome to the Family Del Mundo," Señor Lewis approached me and give a big smile.

And lastly, the grandparents.

I reached for them.

"Thank you, Syd, for bringing my grandson his perfect smile again. I will count on you to always be happy in your marriage life," sabi ng Lolo ni Sir Heath.

After him, I look to Lola Madam who's smiling really ear to ear. I bend down to see her.

"Thank you, Syd."

Three words but it has a deeper meaning as I look to her eyes. I know it's not just a thank you. I knew how she love her grandson– Heath.

Tumingin ako sa kanilang apat.

"Thank you. We will try to live a happy life starting today. Thank you for your warm welcome, hindi ko po 'yon inaasahan. I know a lot of things may confused us along the way but we promise today we will do our best in order to fullfil a happy and hopefully, complete family.

"Bakla!" Rinig ko'ng sigaw ni Gab pagpasok pa lang kwarto ko. "Ahhh!"

Natawa ako sa pagtili niya.

"Huy, kalmahan mo nga."

"Girl, I cannot! That– that Man you'll gonna marry? Ahh, I'm jealous. Sir Init 'yan, o'! Gwapo na, matalino, mayaman, masunurin at lahat na ng katingian na gusto ng lahat!"
