Tsukki and I ended up going into a small cafe that was known for having really good sweets. Knowing Tsukki....there's no doubt he chose this spot for the sweets and sweets alone. That's one thing I love about him...for someone so salty, he has such a big sweet tooth.

He told me to save a table for us, while he ordered out pastries. I take a seat in a booth near the windows, since I wanted to peer outside and people watch whilst we ate out sweets. I tap the tabletop in a rhythmic manner, not paying any attention to my surroundings and zoning out to the tapping. I snap out of my daze, when a heard my name being called and a hand gripped my tapping hand.

I flinch at the touch, cocking my head in the direction of the owner of said hand. A concerned looking Tsukki stares at me, pursing his as if ready to ask what's up, yet refusing to speak. I stop my tapping, taking a deep inhale and smiling awkwardly at him.

"Sorry about that. I was just in my head...." I trail off, feeling embarrassed for making him worry of nothing.

"You'd tell me if something was up right? You'd tell me if you were feeling...bad, right?" Tsukki questions, staring at me as if analyzing my face for some answers.

"....yeah, I'd tell you. Don't worry about me. We can't let those pastries get cold, huh?" I shrug off his statement half heartedly.

Tsukki stares at me for a moment longer, before sighing and lightening up. He passes me the slice of chocolate cherry cake he got me, as well as a frozen hot chocolate with extra whip. I giggle to myself at how well he knows me.

Frozen hot chocolate.... I only like to drink them when I'm feeling down. Chocolate cake...my favorite. He really does know me so well.

I grin up at Tsukki, before digging in and chopping away at the cake. I didn't realize going without chocolate cake for so long makes one appreciate it's flavor. I hum in delight, earning a lighthearted chuckle from Tsukki. I glance up, flushing instantly as I find Tsukki eyeing me like I'm the most precious thing in the world. I mean like his cheeks were rosy, his eyes locked on me, his smirk softer than usual, and an aura of pure happiness emitting from him.

Forget Hinata being a ray of sunshine. Tsukki is like a glowing star right now—the fucking sun himself. Like a full moon on its peak cycle, glowing brightly and illuminating every crevice in sight. This is a moment I hope to have with him over and over again.

"Tsukki, you're staring~" I tease in a childish tone.

"I know." He states out without hesitation.

"Ah....er....haha... Is there something on my face? I know I'm...I'm a messy eater..." I avert my eyes, trying to figure out why he's staring for intently.

"You look beautiful. Your freckles are so vibrant right now. It makes your face look like the star speckled night sky. You mind if I count them? Name each one after a star....?" Tsukki utters airily, each word sweeping with a syrupy tone—aloof, yet affectionate.

"Ah...." I whisper at a loss of words, reaching up to my hair to fidget with again—realizing my hair's length and dropping my hand.

"Yams, I know you don't want to talk about it...but we have to, or else you'll just keep avoiding it. So I'm just going to say this once. Listen closely. I'm in love with you. I don't care what your gender identity is. I don't mind either way. I'm in love with you as a person." Tsukki confesses in a serious tone, maintaining eye contact and blushing at his words.
