Lloyd happily put away his phone and payed attention to the scenery around him instead
As he walked to his best friend's house, he could see the quality houses around him and atmosphere of the neighborhoods slowly start to deteriorate
Eventually, Lloyd ended up in a neighborhood that barely passed as middle class, but was still somewhat nice and kept...in its own way
Lloyd walked up to a cute but small red brick house and rung the doorbell with a smile
Within seconds, Brad was at the door. He was mixed with soft caramel skin and big brown eyes, his black hair somewhat messy as always. He was shirtless and only wearing gray sweatpants and SpongBob socks, so Lloyd could clearly see the shark tooth necklace Brad was wearing around his neck
"You are ruining my chances of taking a nap today." Brad scoffed as he looked at Lloyd with a grin
"That is correct, shawty." Lloyd laughed as Brad moved aside to let him into the house
It was small, it looked like it could only fit two people, but Brad lived alone anyway, so it was just fine for him.
"What are you doing here anyway?" Brad asked as he shut the door
"Everyone was fighting." Lloyd sighed as he flopped down onto the soft brown couch
"You mean...Kai was fighting everyone."
"What?"
"From what you've told me about them, it always seems to be the red one picking the fights." Brad said, pushing Lloyd's body up so he could sit, then laying his head back on his lap
Lloyd laughed at Brad's nickname for his brother. "It's not that he wants to fight, it's just...he can be very...controversial. But honestly, he could try...what are you doing?"
Lloyd looked up to face Brad. The brown eyed boy held a face of amazement as he stroked Lloyd's hair
"It's so soft..."
"Yeah okay, but why are you touching it?"
"Because you never let me." Brad laughed
Lloyd sighed, "You get 5 more seconds."
Brad's awed expression quickly became one of panic. He looked around and decided to stick his whole face right into Lloyd's hair
"Bradley!" Lloyd screeched. The two boys relaxed the tension in their bodies and burst into a fit of laughter
