While they waited at the door, the two boys glanced at each other from the side of their eyes and burst into a fit of giggles
"You know," Morro started, "If other people see me...they'll get scared, right?"
Lloyd shrugged his shoulders, "That doesn't really matter to me...'cause I'll be with you."
Our ghostly friend would be blushing if he had a bodily vessel. Morro scoffed in embarrassment and shook his head.
"But what people think of you matters to me, so for now," He said as he stroked Lloyd's cheek, "lemme make like a ghost and vanish."
"I'll see you later?" The blonde asked hopefully
"Of course." The ghost answered before disappearing into thin air
When Shelli's boyfriend, Dennis, open the door, Lloyd looked like he was alone the whole time
"Oh snap! Hey Little Garma- I mean, Lincoln!" The tall blonde at the door greeted Lloyd. Dennis was like the perfect definition of the typical "Surfer Dude". Handsome, blonde, and clueless. Lloyd raised his eyebrow at the name, making Dennis bite his lower lip in embarrassment
"...Lucas?"
Lloyd's face deadpanned
"LLLLLLLarry?" The tall boy guessed as his final try
"It's Lloyd."
"Ah! I knew that!" Dennis laughed his low, loud laugh. "Anyway, come inside Lance, it's cold out here and we got some drinks to warm you right up!" Dennis exclaimed as he took Lloyd's arm and pulled him into the house. Now, if Lloyd didn't know any better, he'd say that Dennis was getting his name wrong on purpose, but nope, the boy really is that clueless. Almost like a golden retriever puppy.
When Lloyd walked in, the atmosphere almost swallowed him whole
