Zane fidgeted in silence as the chauffer drove him and Wu to the city warehouse that was used for this sort of thing. Wu watched the nindroid carefully for a small period of time before speaking up

"Zane," He started, "Why are you so afraid of those who adore you?"

This question caught Zane off guard before he chuckled at the question

"Wu, it's not the people who adore me that I'm worried about, but the people who don't." Zane smiled

Both of them knew that even though the ninja had plenty fans, they also had haters, some even angry enough to try and bring physical harm to the ninja

"Still, you don't have to worry. We'll be taking you out through the back this time." Wu said

"But you don't have to do that." Zane spoke, "I want people who still have something to say to be able to say it, or if they have gifts, I want them to be able to give it. Even if it's last minute."

Wu nodded his head with a small smile, "You're too kind, Zane."

"Me? No, it's just...for the shy people."

Shortly after that, the two arrived at the warehouse, there were very obviously fans already waiting. Zane liked the method of the people waiting for him to arrive, so everyone would be there when he got there. He and Wu entered through the back and made their way through the warehouse. They walked through a wide hallway with hard floors, white walls, and fluorescent white lights embedded into the ceiling

Zane quietly fixed his outfit a bit before finding a hard blue door, this door lead to a backstage powder room filled with different celebrities who sat in fancy red chairs as professional makeup artists worked their magic. On the other end of that room was a red door that led to the meet and greet isles.

Zane took a deep breath before feeling a warm hand tap his shoulder

"I'll see you in a bit." Wu smiled. Zane smiled in return before walking of towards the red door

When Zane opened the door, he heard the loud sound of people squealing and cheering which he assumed was coming from his own isle. The nindroid strode over to his table with confidence as he smiled and waved at his admirers. He sat down and smiled up at the first fan in front of him.

She was a geeky looking girl, she had her long, brown hair tied up in a messy bun and pushed the fly-aways back with a thick pink headband, she wore a green hoodie with pink sweatpants, and gave a pretty smile that showed off her braces.

"Hi...!" She squealed

"Hello there." Zane greeted in return

Things were going well so far, Zane had high hopes and confidence in the fact that nothing bad would happen this year.

Back at the monastery, things were going a little slower. The other ninja roamed around the house planning ways to make they're own con day special. Papers and markers were strewn everywhere as the each ninja laid in a different area of the monastery, doodling away.

"You guys are gonna look so lame when I show up with fireworks!" Kai laughed as he leaned sat on couch

"Wouldn't that be dangerous?" Nya asked

"Nah, me and my fans are totally awesome. They'll get it." Kai taunted

"Only thing they gon' get is tired of yo bullshit." Cole spoke across the house as he was sitting in the kitchen

The other ninja around them howled with laughter as Kai clicked his tongue and tossed an orange marker in Cole's direction

As the day went on the ninja continued their work, and though he seemed carefree up front, his boyfriend's safety was always lurking in his mind. He didn't want to seem like someone who was overprotective of their lover, and watched out for everything thing they did, but Zane...Zane was someone precious to Kai. The kind of precious that made Kai go crazy at the slightest thing he did, or the kind that made him randomly feel unworthy of Zane's love.

The brunette sighed before pulling out his phone and finding his boyfriend's number. What? He was just gonna do a little check.

He texted a simple question before shoving his phone back in his pocket, understanding that it would be a while until Zane got his message.

For his own Con Day, he was really trying hard to plan something different from last year, but not repeating the things you love are harder than they seem.

"Jay! What are you doing for your Con Day?" Kai asked the redhead who laid on the ground near the other end of the couch

Jay jumped at the mention of his name before slowly shielding his paper with a soft scowl

"Dammit Jay, this isn't middle school! Show me your damn paper!"

"Like hell! You're just gonna laugh!" Jay replied

"I won't, I swear I won't." Kai said softly

Jay watched the brunette cautiously for a bit before crawling over to his side and handing him the paper in his hand. Kai quietly scanned over the blue ink before accidentally letting a small snort out

"No! That’s it, you're done!" Jay yelled jumping up from his spot on the floor and lunging for his paper

"No, wait! Wait! I didn't mean to!" Kai laughed as he raised his arm so Jay couldn't reach

"Man, leave that boy alone." Cole said from behind the couch, plucking the paper from Kai's hand

"Oh man, Jay, you are too cute...!" Kai smiled, wiping a small tear from his left eye

"I actually like it." Cole smiled, handing the paper back to Jay, who quickly snatched it up so Kai wouldn't take it

"You like the idea of everyone coming in Jay cosplay?" Kai asked with an incredulous face

"Why not, it's cute." Cole smiled

"Thank you!" Jay started. "Also, stop calling me cute, I'm a grown man." The ginger huffed

Cole brought his free left arm up to pat Jay's head and rub his hand through his hair before speaking

"Blue Bell, I only speak the truth."

Jay huffed before closing his eyes and relaxing into the touch, so much so, he almost forgot Kai was sitting right in front of them

"Ugh, you guys are cheesy. I'm leaving." Kai scoffed before getting off the couch and walking to the bedroom

"He's one to talk." Jay frowned before quickly changing his faca as he raised up his arms for Cole who was just about to lay down on the couch with him

Kai closed the bedroom door behind him before looking down to check his phone one more time. The brunette sighed a sigh of displeasure as he collapsed onto his boyfriend's bed and wrapped himself in the soft, white sheets. Zane hadn't even been gone for that long, and Kai already missed him.

Oh, the cons of fame.
