"Jay, it's October." Kai deadpanned
"Oh, right." Jay awkwardly smiled
"Love, can you help me with my screws?" Zane asked. Kai walked over to Zane, helping to stick the big screws to to sides of his boyfriend's neck.
"Thank you." Zane smiled, kissing Kai's forehead. The brunette smiled, showing his sharp, fake fangs
"Wait Kai, lemme fix your makeup." Nya called out, black tail bobbing up and down as she rushed over to her brother
Kai closed his eyes and furrowed his brows as his sister brushed soft red eye shadow under his eyes, complimenting the pale makeup
When she was finished, she looked all around Kai's face checking if everything was okay
"I von to suck your blood!" He groaned, flashing his fangs
"Oh shut it." Nya deadpanned as she beat more white powder into the left of his face
Zane walked around to where Jay and Cole stood by the couch, admiring and fixing each other's costumes
"Um, pardon but...what are you two supposed to be?" Zane asked, switching his finger between Jay and Cole
"Uh-...I'm Midoriya!" Jay exclaimed
"Yeah, you don't know Kirishima?" Cole asked with a confused smile, fixing the head piece on his face
"I...could run a quick search but-"
"You two are weird and no one know what those are." Kai yelled from the kitchen
"NO ONE KNOWS WHAT YOU ARE!" Jay shrieked in defense
Kai gestured to the long black and red cape on his neck that swallowed his whole back and dragged a bit on the floor. "I'm a vampire, dingus!"
"And I'm Frankenstein's monster." Zane smiled as he raised his hand
Nya checked her black crop and matching ripped jeans in the mirror one more time, fixing her cat ears
"Do you guys think we're getting too old for this?" She asked, still looking at herself in the mirror
"What do you mean?" Kai asked, standing by his sister, undoing a little bit of the neck on his Victorian button up
"I mean, we looked a lot hotter like three years ago." Nya said, her brother nodding as they both examined themselves in the mirror
Zane walked up behind Kai, wrapping him in a behind hug
"If it's any consolation, I think you look ravishing." He whispered, kissing Kai's cheek
"Aw, Zane..." Kai gushed, turning around to face his boyfriend
Zane leaned closer to whisper in his ear. "And..."
Kai's eyes widened and he pulled his head away, locking eyes with Zane
"Who taught you that...?!" Kai whisper yelled. Zane simply giggled and walked away, leaving Kai blank in the face
Nya pursed her lips in a smile and wiggled her eyebrows and Kai
"Stop." Her brother said with a smile, turning back to the mirror
"Hey, where's Lloyd?" Jay asked, boots knocking against the ground as he turned
