NINJAGO: Amateurs of Adulthood

Lloyd walked away from the house, disregarding his bad feelings and telling himself to trust Gene just a little more. He waited at a stop sign at the end of the block for a little bit before remembering what he actually had to do.

"Morro, Morro, Morro, Morro, Morro...!" He whispered

In a flash of light, Morro appeared before Lloyd with a shocked look, which relaxed after he saw where he was

"Cindy Lou," Morro said with a smirk, "ready to go home?"

Lloyd nodded his head with a smile and Morro wrapped his arm around the blonde's shoulders

"So, did you have fun?" The ghost asked

"Yes actually! More than I was expecting to."

"Mhm, tell me all about it."

The two boys walked and talked all the rest of the way, disappearing into the night.

When they arrived back at the monastery, Morro phased through and opened the window from the inside, then helped Lloyd to get inside

"Lloyd, literally just raise your leg...!" Morro laughed

"I don't sneak into houses often...!" Lloyd heaved

The two finally collapsed onto Lloyd's bed in a fit of giggles. Lloyd turned, looking at Morro with a smile, the ghost did the same, turning to the blonde and smirking. Morro's small lip bite didn't go unnoticed by Lloyd, it only forced his eyes to travel all the way down Morro's face, locking on his lips, and meeting his eyes again. Morro didn't hesitate, propping himself up on moving closer to place himself on top of Lloyd.

Lloyd placed a finger on Morro's soft lips. "I wanna do it..." He said, rolling over so that he was on top

Lloyd leaned down, shortening the distance between them, each keep their eyes trained on the other. After a moment, Lloyd smiled briefly, then quickly kissed...

...Morro's nose.

The black haired boy scrunched his nose and looked at the blonde who had already flopped down beside him. Morro raised an eyebrow causing Lloyd to laugh

"I'm gonna make you wait for it." He smiled as he placed his pointer finger on Morro's nose and pushed gently pushed it like a button

Morro playfully bit his lip as he took a pillow and chucked it at Lloyd, who laughed a bit too loud. They both paused in silence for a moment, looking to see if anyone stirred or woke up from their sleep, then looked back at each other with wide smiles.

They talked for a bit longer, about themselves, their lives, even random nonsense, they talked about it all. Never wanting to leave the others side. But alas, the time had to come for one to leave. The two boys stood at the front door, going through their painfully long goodbye

"So, I'll see you later...?" Morro asked, looking down at Lloyd

"Of course." Lloyd smiled back at him. Morro's smile widened before taking Lloyd's hand and kissing it softly

Lloyd smiled and bit his lip just a bit. The two made eye contact once again.

"Adiós por ahora." Morro sighed as he floated off the ground, pretending to swim in the sky as he laid on his back, kicking his feet up with his hands behind his head

Lloyd crossed his arms and watched his boyfriend fade away. Suddenly, the silence of the night enveloped him. He didn't realize how tired he was until Morro went back home. He dragged his feet as he walked back inside, stopping at the door to take off his shoes, and checking the small clock they had in the kitchen

"4:11? Oh man..." Lloyd laughed to himself. He waddled to his bed and flopped into the messy sheets, letting the warmth engulf him at last.

When he woke up, he groaned, stretching his limbs in every which manner. He stayed there for a little longer before noticing the room was strangely quiet. Lloyd picked his head up from his pillow and saw that none of the other ninja were in the room, he was the only one still in bed. Lloyd sat up, head still lightly throbbing from the night before and the lack of sleep and listened for any sounds proving people were still in the monastery. He heard the TV going and light talking in the living room. Not being bothered to leave the warmth and comfort of his bed, he wrapped himself in his blanket and waddled out the door.

When he got to the living room, Cole and Jay lazed around, flopped on top of each other on the couch watching some anime Lloyd had no clue about, with Kai on the couch not far from them, doing something on his phone as he hung upside down. Wu, Zane, and Nya appeared to be in the kitchen

Jay was the first to notice the blonde. "Dude, your Oni is showing." He deadpanned

"What- where?" Lloyd asked, frantically checking his feet for black hooves. Nope, still regular human feet. He looked back up at Jay with an annoyed look, "There is no Oni, Jay."

Kai showed his cat like grin from behind his phone screen, "He means you look like death."

"To the max." Cole interjected

"Yes, you look quite disheveled. Did you sleep well last night?" Zane asked, leaving from the kitchen. At the sound of his voice, Kai sat up properly and though he tried not to come off as so, the eagerness in his eyes was unmistakable. Zane chuckled softly to himself, then bent down to give his boyfriend a soft kiss on the lips, then turning his attention back to Lloyd while still leaning over the back of the couch.

"Nah remember," Cole started, "He had that lil party thingy to go to."

Nya poked her head out of the kitchen to look at Lloyd. "You snuck out?"

All eyes were on him, even Master Wu peered at the blonde from the kitchen table

"...No."

"You're wearing jeans."

"Yeah I mean, they're comfortable..."

Silence

"Yeah, I snuck out."

Everyone laughed, even Wu, shaking his head with a smile.

"So you don't wanna go to school like a normal teenager but you wanna do teenage things like sneak out at night?" Cole asked with a grin

"I...have ninja stuff to do." Lloyd said in defense

Zane laughed "Technically, he should be at school right now. The time is 12:32."

All eyes in the room fell on Lloyd once again

"No."

Everyone slowly starting getting up from their previous positions and coming closer. Wicked grins plastered on their faces

"No...I said no!"

"Get him!" Nya screamed

Kai tackled Lloyd to the ground and the other ninja followed, piling on top of the two boys as Wu laughed behind them

"NO! YOU CAN'T MAKE ME...!"

They made him. Just another day in Ninjago.
