Request - I watched cherry and I don't know if u have but if not change it to like the devil all the time or like impossible buy y/n watching cherry and getting RLLY upset and worked up about seeing Tom like that all broken and he just reminds her it's not real

You stand off to the side, trying to not bounce your leg too much as you watch Tom. Gosh, how could he act so well?!

You were lucky enough that Doug Liman let you come to set and watch Tom work on Chaos Walking. You were so excited to get to see your boyfriend at work!!

"Okay!! We're gonna shoot the second to the last scene, everyone in your place!" Doug calls, settling into the chair next to you. You excitedly watch as nerves bounce around you.

"Ready? And... action!" Doug calls, and you watch the scene unfold. It opens up to an alleyway, and Tom stumbles on, in perfect character. You smile, wishing you could wave to him, but you know you can't so you sit on your hands.

You didn't quite know exactly what the movie was about. You knew it was about a guy named Maxwell living during WWII. He's been sent off to war, having to leave behind his girlfriend - who was being played by Lizzie, and it was great to see her - and was trying to navigate through his depression and emotions.

"Gods, gods, gods," Tom - or Maxwell - says, leaning against the alleyway wall. He pulls out a flask, putting it to his lips and taking a long swig. He looks up to the sky, sucking in a breath.

"I'm sorry. I'm so,so sorry," he says, before breaking down into sobs, and dropping to the ground. Oh... you shift uncomfortably in your seat, watching Tom break down into sobs. His crying is so loud, that the next studio over can probably hear it. You swallow hard, trying to not cry yourself.

Maxwell continues to cry, before finally calming down. You take a deep breath, when he stops crying. Finally. You wipe away stray tears, hoping no one noticed.

But it just got worse.

Your brows furrow together as Maxwell pulls something out of his pocket. Your heart stops. He dies?!! You completely forget that this is all just an act, and you watch as Tom brings the pistol to the side of his head. Tears are streaming down his face, and you want to run and rip the gun from his hand, but you can't. Your hands grip the arms of the chair until your knuckles turn white, as you watch him but the gun to his head.

"I'm sorry Julia, I'm so sorry," he sobs. You watch in horror, as he goes to pull the trigger.

"Max? Maxwell!?" a voice calls, and his best friend, Joel - played by Harry Styles - comes running down the alley.

"Max no!" Harry cries, grabbing the gun from Tom, and throwing it away. Tom continues to sob, as Harry tries to grab him, but Tom continues to pull away.

"Let me die, let me die!" Tom screams, reaching for the gun, but can't get to hit before Harry tackles him to the ground. You blink watching as your heart pounds against his chest. Tom wanted to die? Since when? What had you been doing wrong? OH gosh, were you doing something horrible?
