A/N: Prompt from @shinypurple00 for a crossover of Kim Joo Won and Yoon Se-Ri. I'm placing this here because I think this might be more wholesome than the other fic. But let's see how this goes. Also, I'm not sure when the next update for this will be because I want to finish After Dark: One Night first. =)

"Him?"

Yoon Se-Ri stared in disbelief at the photo provided to her by her father, Yoon Kyung-ho. Since she was in University, she had known that she her marriage will not be one for love and will be arranged by her father.

Initially, she rebelled against it. Who did arranged marriages in this day and age?! However, after her first broken heart, she decided that love just took away from her work and she was better off having other people decide on a match for her so that she could focus on the fashion empire she had dreamt of.

And now her dream had become a reality.

But now, she was being told she had to marry this man.

He came from another chaebol family sure and that additional capital infusion would help her. However, that man is famously difficult to work with because he changed his mind about things so often that his staff had to scramble around to make his decisions work.

In his defense, he made brilliant calls and most of his investments yielded high profits.

But his style was so different from Se-Ri's that she worried he might just cause a distraction.

"Is there no one else?" Se-Ri asked.

"No one wants to marry you because you're demanding and intimidating," her no-good brother Se-hyung interjected.

Se-Ri narrowed her eyes at her brother. "Sorry, I wasn't aware you were part of this conversation," she said. To her father, she asked, "Why is he here? He's not relevant to my marriage options."

"Se-hyung, keep quiet," their father said. "Se-Ri, your brother is here because he helped vet the candidates."

"And we only ended up with this man in a sparkly blue jacket?" Se-Ri said.

"I think you'd learn a lot from each other," Yoon Kyung-ho said. "He seems all over the place, but he has been able to build his companies apart from the one his family owns."

"Kim Joo Won," Se-Ri read, testing out the name on her lips.

"Would you at least meet with him?"

"Her?"

Kim Joo Won turns to his assistant, Im Jong-soo. "Isn't she notoriously stuck up? People loathe working with her because it's her way or nothing else."

"You're the same," Im Jong-soo pointed out.

"Hey," Joo Won reprimanded him with a look.

"What? It's true. She's just more organized so they've had less threats of law suits than we have," Im Jong-soo said.

Kim Joo Won rolled his eyes. "She's had numerous dating scandals."

Im Jong-soo replied, "All speculation. Nothing was confirmed. Unlike you who has had what four public girlfriends?"

"They wanted to confirm," Joo Won defended.

"Stop dating actresses then." The assistant handed the folder to his boss again. "Yoon Se-Ri is a good match. And it would stop your father from hounding you."

"Do we know who my father's choice is?"

Im Jong-soo nodded. "Yes. A cousin of Yoon Se-Ri's, Yoon Seul. That woman who's been chasing you for the longest time. She's sweet but not as smart as Yoon Se-Ri."

"Choosing between decent women leaves a bad taste in my mouth," Kim Joo Won said to Im Jong-soo's surprise. "What? I may be a jerk at work but I try not to be an asshole to people."

"You're an ass to me," Im Jong-soo pointed out.

Kim Joo Won grinned. "Because you're my best friend... and I pay you."

Im Jong-soo laughed. Then, looking at the photographs again, he asked, "Would you meet Yoon Se-Ri at least?"

Kim Joo Won stared at the photo. "Did I tell you we met in University?"

"You did?"

Nodding, Joo Won recalled to that time. "Very briefly. I asked her out after we met at a party. She turned me down."

Im Jong-soo pondered the information. "She's smarter than I thought then."

Throwing a pen at him, Kim Joo Won made a face at his friend. "She was seeing someone at the time, but I had the biggest crush on her."

To his friend, Joo Won asked, "Do you think she'd remember me?"

"Probably not. You were ugly then," Im Jong-soo said, like only a close friend could.

"You jerk. Get out of here before I fire you," Kim Joo Won said.

"Shall I set up the dinner?"

Kim Joo Won nodded. "Sure. Why not? At the very least, I get a free meal."

Im Jong-soo looked at him questioningly.

"Charge it to my father's account. This is his idea anyway."
