He said yes!

Yoon Seri was so thrilled when she heard Ri Jeong Hyeok's response that the first thing she did was launch herself to hug him. The action made him fall on the floor, with her on top of him, kissing his face. "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" she said in between kisses, alternating them with, "I love you! I love you! You're the only one I've ever loved!"

Getting up, she pulled him with her and declared, "Let's go! Let's find a judge now! Or a priest! Or a waiter who will marry us!"

Jeong Hyeok fell on the ground laughing. "Honey, it's almost midnight. I think we can wait for a few hours."

Joining him on the floor, she said, "Okay, as long as you don't change your mind when the sun comes up."

"I won't change my mind," he affirmed. Kissing her cheek.

"Cheek?" she asked. "Don't I get a kiss on the lips from my fiancée?"

Jeong Hyeok smiled broadly. "I remembered that you were the one who also initiated our first kiss, much like you asked me today." Pulling her close and rubbing his nose on hers, he asked hoarsely, "Is a kiss all you want today?"

Seri bit her lip. She wanted more, so much more, but, "If I recall correctly, you are very big, Mr. Ri. If something happens tonight, I will be sore and won't be able to walk tomorrow and I really, really, really want to marry you already."

Jeong Hyeok blushed and pulled on his earlobe. "I could carry you to the altar?"

"Yes, but then we'd have to explain that we had wild sex before the wedding. I don't think I want to tell people THAT," Seri teased.

"Alright then," Jeong Hyeok agreed, chuckling. "One more night and then you and I will never sleep apart again."

"Deal," Yoon Seri said, shaking his hand to seal it. "Wait, does that mean we're sleeping on separate beds tonight?"

He nodded. "I won't be able to keep my hands off you if we sleep together on that small bed."

Seri groaned. "Do I at least get a kiss?"

"Of course, you do," Jeong Hyeok answered before pulling her into a kiss that made her dizzy, heart beat faster, nerves tingly, erased all the pain of the past and made her look forward to the promise of tomorrow.

When she collapsed in bed after the impact of their second first kiss, Seri stared at the ceiling and commented, "Wow... you're an even better kisser now."

Jeong Hyeok smirked but that happiness was short-lived.

"How many women did you practice on?!" she asked, suddenly sitting up.

Jeong Hyeok immediately closed his eyes and sounded, "ZZZZZZZZZ! Good night, Honey."

"Hyeoky!" She knelt beside his bed and stared hard at him, but he continued to pretend to be asleep. Kissing his nose, she whispered, "I'm not really mad. I just wanted to tell them thank you for not pursuing you and making you end up back in Seoul. Now, I have my second chance with you."

Jeong Hyeok finally opened his eyes and stared at her. "I can't wait to be your husband."

"Soon," she smiled back.

"Tomorrow," he returned. "And for the rest of our lives."

Seri kissed him gently. "For the rest of our lives."

Their plan to "elope" was as unpredictable as other elopements are. They quickly found someone who could celebrate their marriage in Jeju but because the person wasn't an official, they couldn't register their marriage and they did not want that.
