A/N: Hello! This idea came to me after seeing the tweet about the resemblance of Son Ye Jin and Jisoo (I've posted a screenshot here). Let's give this a shot.

 Let's give this a shot

"I do not understand it! Why do we even have to take these courses again?!"

Jisoo turned to look at her friend, Lisa, who was turning pages of their Economics book, hoping to get some more information in her head before their class started. Giggling, she gave her standard reply, "It's part of our standard curriculum for Business courses."

"I know, I know," Lisa complained. "But why do I need to understand how the economy of our country works when all I want is to run my own entertainment company and create the biggest female idol group in town?"

"Well, it's important," Jisoo insisted with finality.

If she were completely honest, she was also still trying to understand the connection. Though she was learning a lot from the course, she still had to understand the importance of understanding the Gross Domestic Product to how she wanted to run her business. Like Lisa said, they wanted to put up their own agency and trying to convince herself that the Law of Supply and Demand mattered to that plan can be tough at times.

Tough, but made easy by the very handsome Mr. Ri.

Currently in her second year in university, Jisoo was barely halfway done with her studies before she could fulfill her dreams. Putting up the money needed to make her own business was no problem as her father promised he would help BUT she had to finish her studies with good grades.

The Economics subjects were making it difficult.

There were two classes that she had to take. She was already done with microeconomics and now she had to pass macro. From what she heard from her seniors, the professor was knowledgeable but so boring that even the best students had a difficult time staying awake. To her surprise, when she received her schedule for the semester, she saw a different name on the space for the professor who was handling the class.

Ri Jeong Hyeok.

A quick check of the University's website gave a description of the professor. His profile was similar to other professors -- excelled in school, studied abroad for some degree or another and was now back in Seoul.

What was uncommon was his photo.

He was much younger than most of the other professors in their school... and he was very handsome. His features were similar to that of some of the most famous actors that Jisoo had to double check that this was her Econ teacher, and that he wasn't teaching acting or some other course related to entertainment.

Seeing him in person was a different experience altogether. Professor Ri was more handsome, his chiseled features emphasised by his smooth skin and silky hair. On top of those perfect looks, he was much taller than most men Jisoo had met and he had the body of a soldier.

The man was unreal.

Every student noticed on the first day. The following days were mostly filled with dread because his exams were tough and most of the class received barely passing grades.

Still, Jisoo was motivated. She even asked help from her sister to tutor her because she was so determined to do well. Hearing the bell, she waited with bated breath as their professor made his way in. In that deep baritone of his, he greeted everyone.

"Good morning. I hope you read up on those chapters I assigned because we will be having a test before our class is over. Now, can someone do a recap of our last lesson?" Professor Ri asked.

Jisoo's hand shot up.

"Yes, Yoon Jisoo, please."

Ri Jeong Hyeok was on his first year as a professor at this prestigious Seoul university. He had spent a good time of his post college life away from the country and only returned fairly recently, immediately getting offered a post at his old school. He had always wanted to teach, so taking a teaching post was a given.

However, being back at this university also brought back memories he didn't wish to indulge in.

Shaking his head, he stood from his office at the faculty area and headed to his class. He accepted the position already and, even if each day he entered the school premises brought back the image of a face he had tried to forget, he still reported for work and hoped to impart his knowledge to his students.

Normally, those who were taking Economics as their major were more interested in his class, while students from other majors were just hoping to get by enough to pass. Once in awhile, there would be a student from another course who would be very interested in what he was teaching. In those moments, Ri Jeong Hyeok's decision was reinforced that he chose correctly.

Speaking of students who showed keen interest: Yoon Jisoo.

This class of business majors were behaved but he knew they simply wanted the grades needed to pass. Yoon Jisoo was different and Jeong Hyeok was glad that at least one was paying attention.

If there was one downside to this particular student, it was that Jisoo reminded him so much of a woman he had tried so hard to forget. Said woman had a younger sister around Jisoo's age and there were times when he wondered if they were related. However, whenever his mind would wander down that path, he would shake his head and force himself to focus on the present.

At the end of the day's class, he called Yoon Jisoo to have a quick word with her. "Ms. Yoon, your scores in the last exam were not good and the analysis in the essay was sub-par. I expected more from you. I hope to see improvement in the next exams and in your final paper."

"But I even asked my sister to help me study," Jisoo said to him. "She was the one who explained inflation to me."

"It's not wrong but the interpretation is not so straightforward. Review the notes from our previous class, and," Jeong Hyeok commented. "Perhaps your sister needs to freshen up on inflation as well."

"EXCUSE ME?!"

Jisoo and Ri Jeong Hyeok turned to the voice that came from the doorway of the classroom.

It was the face Jeong Hyeok never wanted to see again...

... and Jisoo's beloved sister.

"Yoon Seri." Jisoo and Jeong Hyeok said in unison.
