Apologies for the delayed update but I went out-of-town for my birthday and just wanted to relax. =) and it's quite a slow journey back to writing. "Eomma! Ten days left until I'm 5 years old!"

Hoon woke up that Sunday and made this announcement as if Mi-jo had not marked said day on her calendar since the day she received his adoption papers. "Wow! Ten days! And someone hasn't finalized his plans yet," Mi-jo teased poking Hoon's nose.

"What means 'final wise', Eomma?" Hoon asked. "Is that the last smart person? Is Appa not wise?"

Park Dae-sik threw his head back and laughed upon hearing Hoon's interpretation. "Why me?" Dae-sik asked as he fixed Hoon's breakfast plate.

Hoon shrugged. "I don't know. Ask Eomma. I think you're very smart, Appa!"

Dae-sik and Mi-jo shared a look and laughed. Wrapping his arms around Mi-jo, Dae-sik asked, "Am I wise, Jagi?"

"Very," Mi-jo replied, getting lost in Dae-sik's gaze.

Seeing the scene play out before him, Hoon groaned. "Are you two going to kiss? Because it's really gross."

Cha Mi-jo looked surprised. "I thought you wanted us to be together?"

"I do!" Hoon confirmed. "But do eommas and appas kiss all the time?"

Mi-jo blushed. "Of course, eommas kiss appas."

Dae-sik stroked her back before diverting Hoon's attention from the uncomfortable topic, he asked, "Buddy, why don't you show me the list of guests you want to invite to your party?"

"Oh right!" Hoon ran to his room to retrieve his paper.

"Mi-jo, does that kid ever walk?" Dae-sik teased as he watched their child vanish into his room. "In all this time I've known you, Hoon just seems to be running all the time."

Cha Mi-jo laughed. "He seems to take after my high energy instead of your calm, quiet one."

"Good thing then," Dae-sik chuckled. "It keeps me on my toes."

Hoon returned waving a list. "Here it is, Appa! I have Grandma and Grandpa and Auntie Mi-hyun and Auntie Joo Hee and Uju..."

Dae-sik wondered why Hoon suddenly stopped.

"These are all my family and friends and Eomma's family and friends," Hoon pointed out. "Don't you want to invite your family, Appa?"

"Oh, I wasn't aware I could put people on the list," Dae-sik said.

Park Dae-sik was close to his parents and his only brother so he freely told them about his relationship status. However, since he and Mi-jo were still fixing their relationship, he hadn't asked her if he could introduce her and Hoon to his side of the family.
