"You."

One word that Yoon Se-Ri hoped expressed the contempt she had for being stuck in the elevator with this particular person.

"Yes me. Lucky you," Kim Joo Won stated.

"Lucky?! And why is that?" Yoon Se-Ri asked, facing him fully now.

"At least while you're stuck here, you can gaze up at my handsome face," he answered.

Yoon Se-Ri scoffed at his overconfident reply. "Handsome? You? Well, I wouldn't know because I can't see past the lights reflected by your sequins."

"Ha. ha. ha. What a sense of humour. Is this what I'm missing by not marrying you?" Kim Joo Won returned, his face not showing any expression.

"You're missing the chance for free fashion advice," Yoon Se-Ri said. "Too bad. You can be exposed to a whole world without sequins."

"Boring world then," Joo Won said. Rolling his eyes at her, he muttered, "And they say you have good taste."

Instead of replying to prolong the conversation, which was obviously going nowhere, Se-Ri jabbed on the Call button again. "Excuse me? Is anyone there? The elevator is stuck and I'm here with a man with no fashion sense! Can you please assist me before I go blind?"

Kim Joo Won went to the panel when she was done. "I would appreciate help! I'm stuck here with a woman who has a knife in her mouth instead of a tongue. Kindly get us out before she starts rapping!"

"I'M NOT EVEN WEARING THAT NECKLACE!" Se-Ri said in her defense.

"So, you admit that necklace is the same ones rappers from the 90's wear?" Kim Joo Won asked.

"Why... no! Stop talking to me," Yoon Se-Ri said, turning her back to him and facing one of the corners.

Copying her stance, he faced the corner farthest from her, even though it was difficult in such a confined space.

To their delight, a voice came in, "We're working on this Ma'am. Please just give us a few minutes."

"If I lose that unit, it will be your fault," Yoon Se-Ri murmured but Kim Joo Won heard.

"You're the other client looking at the penthouse?" Kim Joo Won asked.

"You're the broker's earlier appointment?!" Yoon Se-Ri gasped. "I'm making that check now so I can give it to her as soon as I get out of here."

Kim Joo Won took something out of his jacket and waved it. "I already have mine ready," he said, as he took the pen she held.

"Give it to me!" Se-Ri demanded.

"No."

"GIVE. IT. BACK."

"NOOOOOOOOOO," Joo Won held the pen up his head. Distracted with it, the check was exposed allowing Se-Ri to hold it hostage in return.

Pushing him up against he wall and holding what she can of his collar, she threatened in a low voice. "Give me my pen or --"

"I can write up a new check very quickly," Joo Won told her.

Se-Ri's eyes zoomed in to a loose thread near the zipper. Holding on to it, she continued, "Then, I will pull on this thread and set free all these sequins in your beloved jacket."

That was the most terrifying threat Kim Joo Won had ever received and it led him to drop the pen, cross his arms over his chest and scream so that Yoon Se-Ri would move away and let go of the thread she held.

"Oh, geez!" Se-Ri complained, covering her ears because that scream came unexpectedly. Quickly recovering, she took the pen and started scribbling. Shortly after, they felt the elevators finally move.

"You haven't even seen the place and you're ready to spend money just to win one over me," Kim Joo Won reprimanded. "Not the smartest move."

The brief moment of hesitation, allowed Kim Joo Won to bolt when the elevators doors opened because he had been watching the progress up since they moved. Seeing this, Se-Ri ran after him as he called out to the broker, "I'm buying this! Don't take in viewings anymore! Here's the check!"

"NOOOOOO!" Se-Ri yelled. Unable to chase him because she was in heels, she pulled one shoe and threw it to hit Joo Won's back.

The move stopped Kim Joo Won in his tracks because it was so childish. "You are unbelievable!"

Yoon Se-Ri and Kim Joo Won talked over each other, saying how one was more annoying than the other, or some other slight the other person did. The two were going at it so loudly that the broker had to raise her voice to remind them that the unit owners had strict rules in the building.

"I'm sorry Ms. Yoon and Mr. Kim. But the place has just been bought in the last ten minutes anyway," the broker informed them.

"What?! Who?" Kim Joo Won asked, while Yoon Se-Ri turned to him and started blaming him for keeping her from meeting the broker earlier. "Don't tell me you blame me for the elevator getting stuck?! Believe me, I wouldn't want to be stuck anywhere with you!"

"Mr. Kim, Ms. Yoon, please keep your voices down," the broker said again. "I can't tell you who made the purchase. You both know I am bound by privacy rules."

The broker bid them goodbye and made her exit.

Yoon Se-Ri grumbled again. "Ugh! You bring bad luck to me. Can you please vanish from my world?"

"You are such a --," Kim Joo Won started to retort, but decided against it and quickly walked away.

Se-Ri slumped against the wall before deciding to leave since there was no point for her to stay anyway. But as she took a step, she realized an issue, she was walking unevenly because she was missing a shoe -- the one she threw at that sequinned man.

However, looking around, she did not find said shoe anywhere.

Looking like she was limping, she ran as best she can to catch the next lift to head down to the lobby. She saw Kim Joo Won and called him. "Hey! Where is my shoe?!"

Quickly riding his vehicle, he rolled the window down, held up her shoe and called out, "BYE, CINDERELLA!!! I will NEVER seek you out! Geesh! You have stinky feet!"

"I DO NOT! COME BACK HERE!!!! Kim Joo Won!!!!! ARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!" Se-Ri tried to run after him but his car was speeding away, taking his pesky face along with it. She called her assistant to pick her up and as soon as she was in the vehicle, she told Mr. Hong,

"Call our designers and tell them that for our fall collection... BAN ALL SEQUINS."
